It's been an hour after the game and still no votes.

I'm gonna have a crack without even watching or listening to the game:

6) Green

5) Moloney

4) Bruce

3) Grimes

2) Morton

1) Bate

How the hell does that work?

I thought that despite both collecting plenty of the ball, Bruce and Green really let us down with their disposal.

Green's kicking today was really poor, and Bruce had his usual quota of dud disposals.

Our backline deserves massive recognition as well, particularly Frawley.

6) Moloney

5) Grimes (first time in years that Chapman didn't kill us)

4) Frawley

3) Morton

2) Green

1) Petterd

Jurrah, Jetta and Bennell also showed plenty.

Sylvias suspension could cost him the DPOY and the Bluey.

Damn it.

Spoke to Colin in the rooms after the game. I mentioned exactly this and he said bluntly 'I'm about the team, not awards, as nice as they are'.

I wasn't able to see much of the game, but isn't great to see all young players in the votes. Look slike the only senior player that played well was Green, then we hae a mixture of Moloney, Grimes, Bennell, Morton, Bate, Frawley, Petterd, Jurrah and Bartram

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
