there could be better, though it wasnt that bad.

Personally i liked the one were we wore all dark blue with the demon in the side corner.

But that one is not a real clash jumper as it's still dark

yea true, maybe just reverse the colors?

Don't know about everyone else, but if that guernsey was to go on sale next year I'd be the first one to buy it. Looked great. Should be our clash jumper next year in my opinion, what did everyone else think?http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsart...82/default.aspx

serach the forums for clash jumper stuff. i think you'll find tha most people here have expressed preference for any jumper that maintains red and blue only, no white.

if we had to wear an odd clash jumper just for the essendon jumper id almost rather us in a yellow jumper for one game only, to raise money for cancer or something.

i like the white jumper, and am thinking of buying one for myself.

the mfc shop said they expect the red clash jumper delivered in about a week and the white in about a month. you might want to call ahead before heading in though!

They're selling the white one this year? Awesome, I didn't know that. I'll buy one for sure.

Cerise and mauve polka dots - with frills. If they can perform I'll forgive just about anything.

However, I reckon that white jumpers in general are anaemic looking. The red one we saw earlier in the year is far superior. Can't understand why we weren't wearing it last night - there would not have been a clash with the other side's livery.

Here's a link if you didn't see it.

the jumper should be burned

there was a much better design on this site that was predominatly red with blue mfc writing on it si milar to carltons but better

the club are stupid if they dont start using it

It looked pretty budget to me. The Hawks awy clash strip looks great and intimidating. How hard is is to stuff like this right?.....It is better than the silver one though!!

I liked it. Hopefully they wear it again.

I really liked the fact that there was no confusion especially when Essendon and Melbourne colours look very similar BUT it wasn't a Melbourne jumper. I kept thinking that Essendon looked more like my team, heaven forbid.

I kind of like the jumper but nothing will ever come near to the original.

If I have a criticism of the white jumper and the red one for that matter, it's the graphics. The Demon is too friendly looking a caricature. It's like it comes straight out of the Hanna Barbera production house for kiddies cartoons. I'd like to see a ferocious demon with blood dripping from its sharp teeth (OK in the red version it can be saliva - hope you're not eating your dinner and reading this). Next year when the new demons emerge, that's what I'd like to see with our alternate strip - a really scary looking Demon!

It was ok, definitely a winner compared to the silver debacle.

I actually didn't mind this one from a few years ago.

I would like to see the colours reversed and see how that was on the eye. Could be a winner there. Give it a try. At least it would still be red and blue!

Horrible! Just as bad as the silver one!

Seriously nothing could be as bad as that silver one from last year.

Nobody told me we could have multiple favourite players. I am going to add to my list of past and present players.

Didn't someone from this website design an away jumper? From memory it was bloody good, much better than anything the club has come up with.

I suggested that but it would clash with teams like carlton port and essendon etc

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
