I remember back a couple of years ago, we could have gotten Sewell for him. In fact Sewell and the Dorks agreed to it, but Fergy didn't want to go.

2 years later, he has played only a handful of games, where no doubt he would have played more at the Dorks over those 2 years, plus we would have got Sewell <_<

i didnt mind ferg but when rivers came through, he did the job a lot better. hes a great bloke and i hope he gets traded and not delisted because he deserves a chance. if he bulked up and finally got a good pre season maybe he would be quite good, he reads the play well, has had some good games recently and was playing quite well b4 sylvia injured him. on this note, the more i think of it, the more we have lost TJ because he will not want to be there nemore after all of the trade talk

Trade week '05 - How i remember thinking:

'Sewell - why would we want that spud?'

Turns out one is a handy AFL player and the other a handy VFL player. If only we'd been able to do the trade.

Sewell is the equivalent of Batram.

Taggers, with good engines, that can't kick.

Sewell. Meh.

Ferguson is willing, but he hasn't got the body for it, or the talent.

im not shattered we didn't get sewell, he is not that good, just the same as godders really, not going to help you win big games just runs next to a pleyer and holds him.

Batram has better pace so we still win i think.

Trade him to the Doggies

Eade would love am athletic 198 cm backman

They can give us a 3rd rounder

I think you'll find Sewell was one of the most effecient players with his disposal in 06, and i presume likewise this season.

This stat was mentioned during a hawks game this year. I was surprised, but then i watched a little more closely and he hits a lot of targets. He definitely didn't go to the Daniel Ward school for kicking.

We've been waiting for Ferg to bulk up for the last 3 years !

Ferg.

Good depth, possible forward option. No trade value, is on no money. Why not keep him for one more and see if he can become the player we expected after 2003.

MFC has too many depth players and not enough best 22. We've held onto them 4 too long so its good to see us clearing these types.

So we should get rid of Holland, Miller and Warnock too and hope no KPPs get injured. You need depth, every team does. You hope your depth can come into your side and play a role which I think Fergo does.

Note: 'too many'

Ferg could not hold his ground if his life depended on it.

If we've got Holland, Warnock and Miller all on the list then IMO we've got more than enough NQR... sorry... "depth" KPDs on our list without keeping Ferg.

Can't see any good reason to keep him.

This would be worthless to us...

My mail (from an AFL recruiter) is that this is an excellent year to trade your draft picks...

take it or leave it but i trust this news and therefore would be looking for higher picks or a player.

Ferguson could be 30 years old, and some people on here would still be stating that with a 'good pre-season in the gym' he'll add some bulk'.

I think your 1 year early for these 3.

I'm sick of this dud being on a list, be gone with him already, he's embarrassing!

Anyone think the crows would bite on a straight swap Fergo for Meeson? I doubt it, but worth pondering.

Meeson is a demon, the way it is all unfolding is pretty clear. Fergo would be a great deal for us, and it would land fergo the playing time he requires.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
