Finishing 8th is a better path for the dorks than 7th. Suns could've been 4th with a win against Port nearly as bad a bed crapping as the bulldogs

My preference to win are the Giants. They've got no supporters so we won't have to deal with any gloating.

i absolutely do not want pies to win it, followed close behind by cats and hawks

If i was a betting man i would back Cats. They've been flying under the radar down in kitty litter park. i reckon they're a big chance.

Let’s go Radelaide

I was heavily invested in Adelaide, but the Rankine thing left a sour taste in my mouth, so now I don’t care who wins it.

I’d rather it not be Geelong just because I’m deeply envious of their sustained success, but I think they’re worthy of a flag, and other than their nauseating capability of staying good for nearly two decades now, they’re largely inoffensive. Like most, I don’t like Collingwood much at all, but I think they’re cooked anyway so I’m not thinking about them really.

All I’m hoping for now is some tense matches and Hawthorn being knocked out in the EF. Carn the Giants then, I guess.

Yeah that’s fair. To be honest any of the vic clubs winning it would be boring to me, so I’m barracking against all of them, haha.

Weirdly, Giants would be my preference as well, I’d really like to see them win it, but for pure entertainment purposes I’d like to see Adelaide make it to the granny. They’re the best team in the comp to watch for mine, love how attacking and fast they play.

Giants have been very up and down this year so I fear if they got in the granny against Geelong/Hawks/Collingwood, that they’ll get spanked and it’ll be a [censored] granny AND an insufferable result to me.

Ideal granny for watching would be Crows V Brisbane for mine. Would be a cracker of a game. But want Giants to go all the way.

Complicated stuff this finals shenanigans.

Freo, Brisbane or gws for me. Adelaide must beat Collingwood in that first final & I really hope Brisbane knock off Brisbane

I concur re. Crows vs Pies, but Brisbane will have their work cut out for them in that encounter.

I reckon if the Crows get up over the pies, which they should, the pies then have the winner of Freo vs Suns, so can't see them going out in straight sets unfortunately. Fingers crossed though.

Don’t care who wins it as long as it isn’t Hawks, Pies, Brisbane and Geelong, although would be nice to see Hogan and Bedford win a flag

Just also want to add, thank god the Dogs didn’t make finals. Can’t stand em. Gerard Whately going on about “poor them” because they had to attend traininh pre Gold Coast/Essendon?

Not our fault they are [censored]. The ladder is the true indication of where sides are at. We have beaten more top 8 sides than the Dogs.

Can’t stand the glazing of the Dogs and to be frank, seeing them waste away prime Bontempelli makes me extremely happy as he is approaching 30 years of age.

Crom/Giants GF please. No doubt for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ it will be 2 of Cats/Pies/Hawks. No thanks.

Ahhh finals 2025 - Mostly just excited about not spiraling into an existential crisis over the Melbourne Demons failing to meet the completely arbitrary standards I’ve set in my own head about how they should play.

Really hard to care but I'll watch regardless

The Crows will struggle without Rankine, he is the ultimate big game player.

The Giants can't go close without a firing Hogan

The Lions are primed imo. Experience plus deep talent and in good form

Good thing you're not a betting man then

Have played their 2nd half of the draw with teams below them and most of those at the Cattery

The only time they've come up against decent opposition (GWS and Lions), they [censored] themselves

Flat track bullies

Reckon Adelaide, Brisbane, GWS and Freo win week 1.

In terms of other teams winning a flag, I don't want nor couldn't care less for anyone to win.

But I especially don't want a VIC club to win, so I'm ok with Adelaide, Freo, GWS or Brisbane winning it. (not even bothering with GC as they won't get past Freo)

Don’t understand the the “fairytale” nonsense surrounding Gold Coast. 15 years to reach their first finals series and only propped up by the AFL throughout the years.

It is literally akin to that soulless club called Man City. Without the corrupt Arab oil money pre 2008, they were nothing but yearly relegation fodder. Even if they didn’t get relegated, their ceiling was mid table. The “rivalry” with Manchester United wasn’t even a thing pre the oil invasion.

Gold Coast making the finals is no achievement. It was long over due and should have happened 10 years ago. Hopefully Fremantle will do the job and knock them out.

Crows for mine so ANB has 2 flags. He played a great GF for us. Under huge pressure lot of the time.

Or Freo because Gus' brother plays there.

Underachievers Cats will go out again. Sure they make top 4 most years but have the stadium advantage in size and less than transparent issues. They should make top 4.

record of 1 flag since 2012 with taxpayer park support in place is poor IMO.

Dees on the right path to improve as a club currently IMO
