Pickett - genius at work

Gawn - great without dominating

Salem - cool under pressure

Oliver - getting more involved

Langdon - great team ethos

Petracca - exciting when needed

Rivers - great tagging game

Lindsay - beautifully smooth mover

Chandler - had little involvement

Fritsch- just some cameos

McVee - reliable and steady

Bowey - becoming a weapon

Turner - impressive first half

Langford - everything with ease

May - little to do

Lever - needed the run

Melksham - no heroics necessary

Petty - generally competed well

Spargo - little impact again

Sharp - took his chances

Sparrow - played his role

Johnson - an almost game

May - cooked below knees. A bit harsh to our premiership full back but he looks pretty done.

I have been critical of Fritz Joe I think you are a little hard o him today.

He still has one more year in his contract, doesn't he?

We need to think about the future of the Defensive line.

Disco - Petty - Lever ?

Joeboy, you are wrong about Chandler. He was great. He and Bowey have absolutely blossomed this year.

Am I missing something with May? Every week multiple people come on here and give him a bake. He’s not the AFL’s premier defender anymore but he’s still easily one of the first picked.

May - marked too harshly

McVee - best ever spew

Saw that - 3/4 time.

I thought he would go off the ground.

He had a big power spew during the hawthorn game. His signature move 😂

Chandler - always double effort

Yes i thought Chin played a really solid game, particularly early

Fritta - aggressive and hard

He laid some serious tackles in the first half

Melksham - good defensive efforts

Chin's delivery inside 50 was superb:

Hard Flat Passes

He's turned into 2021 Spargo, but more athletically gifted and a much longer kick. That bullet pass to Kozzy in the pocket was beautiful.

So did I. It was just not a quiet spit but chunder x 5. Nerves or over done the fluids?

I remember for Plugger they always had a bucket in the race, but for him more like a rubbish bin.

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
