That last F50 entry was a scene from Benny Hill.

Jack Henderson a beautiful kick around the ground, canโ€™t buy a target inside 50, very funny.

We definitely need to change the High Performance system. The Team is just not sharp

In โ€˜21 we would have smashed this game

Remember the good ol days when it was an arm wrestle in the first half. We would tweak some changes in the half time break and then steamroll teams in the second half?

Dreaming....

We also need to move on, forget '21 is history. Seems that our coach hasn't and thinks we are still a premiership fancy.

Come up with a refreshed list, new coach with new ideas.

I am rememberingโ€™21 because Burgess was in charge

We are nowhere near as fit now

Mind or body

Feel bloody sorry for Goody, trying his best with what heโ€™s got in front of him

It's because of him that players haven't a clue wha to do with ball in hand

We have some of the slowest , dumbest and most unfit players in the comp

Not too bad so far to be honest, much better than last week. You can see what theyโ€™re trying to do. Just need a bit more composure

we were better this week in patches for longer periods, so I didn't switch it off. but have we a skills coach....if not get one.

You would be an expert about not having a clue.

Van Rooyen a mile off.

Fritsch.. some of the decisions. Not a half forward.

Petty was responsible for at least 2 goals in the 4Q.

Oliver, viney same story.. hack forward.

Tackles slipping everywhere.

Tuned in for quarter 4. I watched for 5 mins. Didnโ€™t watch last week. We are worse than I thought. Something has to change.

To know what this team is capable of and to witness this performance just beggars belief. I think thereโ€™s going to be a lot of players requesting a trade if we donโ€™t start turning this ship.

This is starting to look like the coming of an other real dark dark age.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterdayโ€™s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown andย  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
