We are An uninspiring team, there has been no hunger, no intensity. They’ve looked flat all day.

id really love to know why the only 4 who have seemed to consistently care are our 4 draftees the rest would rather be at the f1 like a certain aus cricketer...

Not sure how good Chunk is as a midfield coach

Next site upgrade please return the 🤔

They are talking on the radio about fritsch & how he has no confidence & is a shadow of his former self.

The thing is Goodwin doesn't make these big calls. It's just easier to drop billings, woewodin etc

Bayley Fritsch should never ever get another game, he is still drinking his own bathwater from 21

Careful you'll be slapped down.

Apparently his GF performance gives him a lifetime free pass to be useless

jesus, that is not a goal:

Must be Fritsch's worst performance ever.

Ever !! Worst ever !!! Missed shots. Missed tackles. Dropped marks. Worst ever !!! Basic footy errors.

More soccer practice is needed on Monday. Maybe they could change it up and include netball...

I have to apologise to all the people who play netball in my post, we clearly could not practice that as you have to have skill, coordination and an ability to hit targets quickly maybe we could practice ring a ring a roses.....

100% after the siren… wtaf is going on.

fritsch dropping a chest mark 20 out from goal. … missing 2 sodas.

They generally look lost. Something is wrong with this team.

Dead set cheating from the umps there. Siren clearly sounded before that kick. Free goal to the AFL'S pet project team.

It's alright the Suns will always be a failure on the field and off the field.

Just played the replay.

Clearly not a goal.

Sitting above that one he seemed to kick it as the siren sounded unfortunately.

If it hit the ground before crossing the goal line though, it’s not a goal. Thus applies only to balls ‘in flight’. Not sure on that last goal.

WHY DON'T THEY REVIEW THAT IT THEY REVIEW IF IT MIGHT HAVE TOUCHED A FINGER?

THE KICK WAS AFTER THE SIREN

Clearance count 25 to 11 😡

We list the first 7 clearances out of the middle that qtr

Anyone wondering why we are [censored]?

We reach fo the ball while other teams body it

At a contrst we attack the ball, other teams hunt it.

Our forwards don't follow their players

and

WE DON'T TACKLE

That one was okay. Kicked before the siren.

Not sure about Kings dribble goal though.

Looked to me like it bounced up and touched the post

JVR can't take an uncontested chest mark

Fritsch can't take an uncontested mark above his head

WTF is going on?!?

Just wondering if the trainers take a mirror and brush out to him with the water so he can continue to look good because he is soft as butter and along with many of his mates do not deserve a game but alas, we have no one to take their places. Long year ahead fellow demonlanders. Even Max is again getting monstered along with the rest of the mid field.

Did someone give the Fritter a bad haircut ??

touk miller the classiest player on the ground today

Miller having that much space on multiple occasions inside Gold Coasts forward 50 is damning for our midfielders. Zero effort defensively

Didn't think we'd be in a scenario where we're three weeks into 2025 and Jake Bowey is potentially leading our B&F

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
