    The thing is Goodwin doesn't make these big calls. It's just easier to drop billings, woewodin etc

    If it hit the ground before crossing the goal line though, it’s not a goal. Thus applies only to balls ‘in flight’. Not sure on that last goal.

    Just wondering if the trainers take a mirror and brush out to him with the water so he can continue to look good because he is soft as butter and along with many of his mates do not deserve a game but alas, we have no one to take their places. Long year ahead fellow demonlanders. Even Max is again getting monstered along with the rest of the mid field.

    Miller having that much space on multiple occasions inside Gold Coasts forward 50 is damning for our midfielders. Zero effort defensively

    Didn't think we'd be in a scenario where we're three weeks into 2025 and Jake Bowey is potentially leading our B&F

After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
      Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.
