Melbourne - $2.80 to make the eight.

A good bet $50 on for me  (gamble carefully).

Just a bit of luck needed in close games this year and with injuries of course.

That my friend is what’s “ Money for jam” They’ll be paying that out by round 10

Hawthorn second favourite for the flag is rediculous, can see them doing a dees of 2019 after we came from no where in 18 to a prelim

Langford at $15.00 for the Rising Star was too juicy to ignore. Chucked a cheeky watermelon on him.

Yes, if Mitchell can get them to Top 4 this year, it will be very depressing!!

Who the hell is favorite if he’s at $15?

(And what value is the watermelon?)

A drop yes but they haven't had near the players miss pre season that we did that year.

No, guys, an actual cheeky watermelon has been bet. Come September given how quickly they go off this bettor may have to have a cheeky watermelon party.

Dees to make the 8

Langford Rising Star

Bont Brownlow

Odds of $561.60

$20 bet would get you $11,232

Hold on isn’t the Brownlow just between Cripps, Daicos and Neale ?

Have the rules been changed ?

I plan on doing a few multis with Dees making the 8, then a couple of different winners for the Brownlow, thinking Daicos, Bont, Serong and maybe Butters. Then a few options for the Riding Star.

My shout if my $1 bet comes off ...
(Also have every combo of 2 legs ie 6 bets of $10. I think Roo winning the Coleman is the least likely but what the hell).

Now this sounds all OK,

but I do not know how to put "multiples" on the AFL    I can see how how it is done on other things but how do you specify  the sport AFL,  and then the exotic markets .  What betting agency and any other hints please.   I have looked but have fat fingers when it comes to on line stuff    it just does not work for me.

Any help appreciated      PS I do know how to do stuff on the nags,  lost a heap on them.  but i think i know more about footy.

Before the practice matches is the time to prove it.   Thanks in advance.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
