Quite incredible timing to not see if his hamstrings hold up, maybe they took a punt and signed him cheaper?

I literally just drove by Ikon Park and yelled out ‘put your knobs away’ - but it wasn’t me, my cars been hacked.

I immediately disabled my vehicle, and engaged legal counsel.

Yep. Dogs are a media favourite as they have quite a few ex-players in the media and they play SEXY FOOTBALL.

Not as sexy as when the package lived there.

If the Blues are relying on Silvagni and Docherty then your season is already shot

I would say The Blues rely on Weitering, TDK, Cripps and Curnow. Take any one out and we are really hampered, take two out and we are stuffed.

We didn't have Silvagni and Docherty all of last season and they are valuable additions back into the squad. Neither are the most talented footballers out there but they are selfless club men who always put in and don't take a backward step. They actually play for the jumper and the monogram. Players like this will never win Brownlows, Colemans and Norm-Smiths but are indespensible if you really want to contend deep into September.

Well the club sent him to a specialist in Qatar in the off season, I take it they have confidence that his hamstring problem is now under control. Cerra had an awesome 2023, one of Carlton's best players. If he can get back to that form and stay on the park he adds a great deal to the Carlton midfield mix.

He is only 25 so still has another level to go up to I say.

All clubs have prime movers & if you lose a couple of those you are in strife as we found last season. One soldier out, one in doesn't really apply to these players.

Unfortunately a lot of our football media & fans don't seem to get this. I think the media maybe do but like stirring up issues to keep relevance.

The Brisbane injury list was often mentioned last year but it wasn't 2 of Neale, Andrews, Daniher & McCluggage. It wasn't even one of those.

Cerra does add a lot to the mix but it's a huge risk...he could be a big win or he could end up being another Prestia. who hasn't had a good run at it for a few seasons now.

An interesting watch...

Just keep telling yourself that. They’re old, slow and injured most of the time. The reality is if either of them are playing you’ve got injuries to others. If they’re playing and you haven’t got injuries then your recruiting has been woeful. The reason they won’t win awards is because they’re so far past it they will likely not be playing.

Pretty sordid to say the least.

Least get as much exposure on this as possible and have all the spruikers pump it up.

Thought they were called “Fluffers”?

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
