The graphics don't even match up with the votes being read out?

Not a great start, considering that highlights package looked like it was played at about 8 frames per second.

Apparently last night at the dogs b&f, after they just started, it showed up on the screen who won.

It would be handy if the CEO knew the premiership full forward's number I would have thought.

Our boys are polling well. I reckon we might pick up a medal tonight.

The word is P. Cripps takes it out

Thank you Gus for calling out Pert completely botching BB's number.

How would anyone remotely connected to the club not know that he's number 50?

Interesting, I thought it was Daicos' to lose!!

I was more excited about Brayshaw than Hogan when they come to the club.
Kid was a fearless beast from the get go.

How old is Harold Ball????

I don't understand your question. Harold's son Ian accrepted the award on his dad's behalf.
I've known Ian for more than 40 years.
He rarely misses a game, be it in Vic or interstate.I had no idea he is the son of Harold.
Ian is 70ish. His dad would have passed away some years ago.

My bad, I thought it was the man himself and he was 104!

Just looking over the life members stuff - 45 games and 73 goals was a decent enough return from BBB I think.  And for all the talk about cultural issues at the club, guys like Ben should be celebrated even more for what I understand he bought in that regard as well.

His contribution to our 21 premership should never be underrated IMHO.

Nah, make Gus CEO

Actually a good call. Bring PJ back in to mentor Gus for 2-3 years. Gus goes to CEO, PJ goes to President.

My god that was terrific by Gus.

Make him CEO/President.

There will never be another Gus Brayshaw.
A brilliant player, leader, and human.

❤️💙

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
