Don't think he has displayed anywhere near the same level of tactical nous as Yze and we have been poorer for it. The stoppage set ups were not good enough at times, but Yze never had to deal with a midfield minus Trac and Clarry, only minus Clarry. And to be fair, he did an excellent job with the midfield minus Clarry. 3 Quote

Players make coaches not the other round. 1 Quote

BScotti 178 Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Although I dont think McQualter will get the WCE gig, who should we get to replace him as mid coach if he does knowing we also need a fwd coach and ruck coach. 1 Quote

Heart Beats True 1,337 Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Leading WC coaching candidate Steven King collapsed at Cats training this morning. Hope he’s alright. Interestingly WC put out the following statement. “The West Coast Eagles are aware of a medical episode involving Geelong assistant coach and Senior Coach candidate Steven King at the Cats’ training session this morning. Our thoughts are with Steven, his family and the Geelong Football Club. Steven's health is the priority, and we wish him a speedy recovery.” 1 Quote
