Gutnick’s concerns comes as the Herald Sun can reveal Petracca’s partner Isabella Beischer – formerly a lawyer at the Hall & Wilcox legal firm, is now the business manager of Trac 5 Pty Ltd.

She is the key driver of “Brand Petracca”, which reportedly is one of reasons influencing Petracca’s desire to pursue a trade to a big Melbourne club.

She became Petracca’s business manager in April this year, two months prior to Petracca being severely injured in the King’s Birthday clash with Collingwood

Should say it’s THE reason influencing his desire for a trade to a big club.

If you just wanted to get out of our club, whose direction you seem to dislike so much, you would be open to be traded to any club where you could see yourself succeed and be happy.

The motives cannot be clearer or more shallow.
Unfortunately because this club has no brand management skills, they’ve let a player and his partner control the narrative.

It is an absolute indictment on this club and its leaders, that they knew for months that Trac was unhappy, knew the dangerous “social management” path he was on, and yet let it fester and explode to the point that he has been allowed to publicly urinate on our club for weeks, all for the sake of his own brand!

And urinate on the supporters too! 😡

To be fair it’s been noted here for days, but Demonland rightly doesn’t want one person targeted who is a private person not involved in the club.

Which credentials terrify you? The lawyer part?

This is the biggest, most public, urgent issue facing any club in the league. It's embarrassing, distracting and disturbing for the players, sponsors, members and supporters.  The media and other clubs are picking at our bones like buzzards and she's barely across the details.

She's relying on process and structure to solve a giant problem. Roll your sleeves up and get involved.  She could have convinced us she was heavily involved without disclosing specifics. But she didn't, because she's not.

Sorry, simply not good enough.

What a sensible, perceptive comment. Spot on. Not good enough.

Paging @Chook in Perth looks like it’s fair game now.

So it’s all coming from his Mrs?

Probably explains lacking proper football procedures and misinformation on how trades work.

Much clearer now.

and are the Pies the platform for Brand Petracca.

The whole only wants a trade to a 'big Melbourne club' angle was always a give away

If the relationship between CP & the MFC is that bad he'd be open to almost anywhere

I'd very much doubt it is all coming from her, that would be naive to think so.

A wife or partner can have massive influence, esp if she has taken over his business matters.

"can be fatal" to "I nearly died" is quite the jump. Though once again, the surgeon never said he nearly died.

Yes, it is quite the jump but in my experience it's one that individuals or their family may take during the stress of the event. Unfortunately, these embellishments can be unhelpful - and are worth dispelling - as they enhance the psychological trauma of the experience.

In this case, a clearer perception is "could have been fatal if untreated but very unlikely to have been so given access to necessary interventions".

Trac is a grown man. Blaming his missus is low. He’s been promoting his brand before she came on the scene so just as likely she’s doing what he wants her to do.

Im not sure I believe the big club comments or the big crowds things tbh.

There are four big clubs not just two for a start.

Joe Gutnick?! Oy Vey! That's a name I haven't heard in many years!

I appreciate the fact he helped save the Demons from being merged with the Hawks way back in 1996. But his Presidency was full of dramas from what I remember.

Didn't he go bankrupt? From what I recall "Diamond" Joe still owes the Melbourne Football Club $500,000 doesn't he?

We also missed out on getting Olympic Park as a Home Base under Joe's Presidency. Although, Eddie McGuire's machinations were at play there too against the Melbourne Football Club and getting the Magpies to swoop into that opportunity.

I mentioned this person by name and the damage she was doing in a post a few days ago, however, quite appropriately my post was rejected as the moderator stated that they didn’t want anyone named on this site.

Andy has literally said to keep it all in one Petracca thread....

Begs the question of what role had “the big Melbourne club” in all of this if true?  Surely any business manager would have sought out approval from the big club to follow a pathway to get X to said big club. Sounds implausible or very naive they would have acted on their own. I wonder what machinations would need to be employed since getting X  to move to the “big club” by normal channels would have been very difficult.

“Hasn’t told me a thing (about wanting to play elsewhere),” Gawn told 7NEWS at the All-Australian awards.

“He’s told me some frustrations he has with the club and I told him some frustrations I have with the club. And that’s where we got to.

“At the moment, he has shown some frustrations, which to be fair some of them I agree with, some of them I don’t, but that what makes leadership groups fun, having some different opinions.

“There’s no real repairing needed if he walks back in day one.”

Whether it's warranted or not, other people close to Trac being dragged into this, either by the media or the club, is certainly not going to help diffuse the situation. Especially if Trac's camp thinks the club is leaking against them

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
