Settle down sweetie.

Haha . We are a joke again. Just great. Next we will hear his monster contract will demand that we pay all of his salary and give pick 6 to the club that wants him. *sarcasm*

Well, this is better than any movie I was just about to put on.

WCW, what is your take on this?

Haha newsflash if needed - players don’t communicate their future plans or disgruntlement with the club to members of the cheer squad!

In any workplace you have unhappy people. It’s never good when your best employees are unhappy tho, and if it’s true it needs to be fixed and fast. Being back at the club would definitely help you would think.

And if you believe Morris 🤮, he did say Trac is not unhappy with the coach, which contradicts the reports that he’s unhappy with the direction of the club.

Is he unhappy we directed our season to a bottom 8 finish? Coz like same Trac.

So potentially within the span of 12 months

Brayshaw - retired

Oliver - linked to Adelaide

Viney - linked to North

Petracca - possibly requesting a trade

What the bleep has happened to this football club?

Brayshaw - medically retired.

oliver - still at the club last time I checked

viney - still at the club

petracca - still at the club

its almost like most of the things the media says might happen don’t happen!

One can only laugh at the demonland cheer squad brigade who  will continue to defend the club at all costs. Watch them now blame Petracca in all of this haha.

Some supports really need to wake up.

I'm sure that some of this will be to do with the type of footy we are playing as well.

There are definitely parallels to the end of 2020. There was huge discontent at the end of that year, and a few fresh faces came into the coaching ranks and it was all resolved.

We definitely need to smash this off season on a number of fronts.

Ahhh so we should believe Tom Morris because someone said it on demonland first? Where do you reckon Morris got it from?

Clearly we need to make some changes this offseason but I’m not buying Tracc will be one of them nor do I buy he’d want more than to see the kind of progress we’d all want to see.

Well , without a statement from the Club or player the only authority is from the ultimate ambo chaser Morris. Ch 9 have to have something to fill the post Aussie lympics.

Is venting his spleen part of the recovery process?

it's not as though it's difficult to see why players would be frustrated with a lot of what's happened since 2021.

The way his injury was handled was really really ordinary, i don't think he was thrilled with how the clarry stuff was handled either.

Agree. Always has been.

Far from ideal but we have to hope and back the club in to get things right.

Said in another thread that there were some unhappy players at the club. Trac was one of them.

Regardless of what some people on hete think that every single player is happy at our club and for the coach, well they arent, that's the reality.

Some are happy, some aren't. That's footy clubs for you.

The club handled the Trac situation poorly and the family are still not on great terms with the club.

From a players parent I bumped into a few weeks back.

Among other things Dazz is my mail, I can just see us Missing for 2025 Tracc, Clarry and Viney! Definately there is a Buzz around and it aint pleasant!

None of this is new. We've all known this and Morris is just reporting it closer to the trade period to stir it up for obvious reasons.

Will be all fine. He and Oliver will both end up at Geelong with us paying their salaries somehow and giving them our first 2 draft picks.

Great point about 2020.

We absolutely need to refresh the FD around Goodwin and get some different energy.
Yze was really loved and respected by all our mids. His arrival at the club was very important and I think his departure has been really costly (although I of course understand that he had to jump at the top job when one was offered to him!).

Finishing bottom 8 when you’ve been top 4 and premiers for the last 3 years, must be really frustrating. It is for the fans, so why wouldn’t it be for the players who work so hard to succeed?
It’s been a truly horrible season.

Well I’m hoping whatever the hell is wrong can be sorted out - he is a crucial part of this clubs immediate future and along with Max and Jack he represents the very fiber of this team

Is it possible he is disappointed with certain people not adhering to team / club standards and there being no real ramifications? Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised

Dees and Richmond going to own the entire first round of picks! Going to be a boring night for 16 clubs

He drives a very high standard and clearly expects those around him to do the same. Unfortunately there’s 30 odd blokes, all with differing minds and bodies. I’d love to see Oliver put in the off season that Tracc does

How do you figure that all 3 of these CONTRACTED players will not be with us in 2025?

Did Viney look like someone who wants out on Saturday night?

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
