Tuned in to the last quarter to see the Dons up by 3 goals, turned off. (Guessing almost everyone else did the same?)

Now im on AFL.com waiting and refreshing for the last two minute video to have a good laugh!

Edit: https://www.afl.com.au/video/1174930/last-two-mins-rachele-comes-up-clutch-to-deny-bombers?videoId=1174930&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1721392314001

I also turned it off because I’d had enough and thought it was over. Woke up and discovered the Crows made a comeback. Nice start to the weekend.

Now, for us and the Swans to get up and make it even better.

Two teams with zero defensive skills.

Himmelberg couldn’t catch a cold or pick up a meth addled mummy-type on Hindley Street.

Stringer is an absolute [censored]

so glad that the bombers ‘bombed’.  Makes for a cracking start to the weekend!

The package does have the appearance and fitness of a local footy player. Couldn't believe how out of shape he is, in the middle of the AFL season.

He always get ****ty with his teammates around him, the opposition or umpires when he fails to win the ball and last night that was pretty much every time.  Time to go.

If you have Foxtel and if you’re tv hasn’t been affected by the outages then you can watch the replay - it’s on now.

Woke up on a cold windy morning to the sad news 🤣🤣🤣 that the Bombers choked in the dying moments
Couldn't have scripted it better.
Have they actually beaten a team at the time in the top 8?

100 point loss coming up in the lead up to finals, it will be the dress rehearsal for the 100 point loss in the elimination final

Finally! Something Essendon fans and I agree on 🤣

For those playing along at home, Stringer is @binman’s Skinner. (Like sparrow was Swallow there for a season or 2…)

One Skinner does not a spring make.

He was a real [censored] ‘skinner’ last night-  So your are right to refer to him as such!

Just rewatched the last ten mins,  Keays was unbelievable the last 5 mins.

He was unbelievable all game. Absolute gun.

That was easily one of the most enjoyable Non-MFC games I’ve seen in ages. I’d say I was a “neutral” supporter but that would be a lie. I turn in to such a spiteful bugger when Essendon are involved.

Agree Nasher, a very enjoyable contest. He was the match winner for sure. In the last 5 mins he won a few critical contests that looked impossible to win.

Agree. Reminded me of the surge of confidence I get when Petracca is in the frame of a moment that matters. As a Crows fan on loan I was constantly looking for him.

Hawks v Pies

Pessimist says Hawks to win because their poor percentage means they are more likely to stay behind us. Optimist says Collingwood to win because it'll be so much fun for them to still be in contention right up until we crush their dreams in round 22.

I like your analysis, and I count myself as a supreme optimist. But on this one, there is no discussion --- Hawks by as much as possible (and I thought I would never type those words!). Anyone but Collingwood!

If Ginnivan happens to kick the winning goal against the Ferals later on today I will never say another bad word against him….. that by the way is a big ask!

Haha 😂 that would be hilarious, can you imagine their faces?

Keays was immense. You’d love to have him in your team. Did anyone notice him coming off the ground with a minute to go and just start walking down into the rooms? He wasn’t injured. It was more like “Ok you guys just finish it off, I’m gonna try and beat the crowds.” Stone cold.

Couldn't be any more than 5,000 people at the ground to watch Andrew Demetriou's plastic implants today.

Can't work out what result I want in the GWS vs GCS game.
I've setted on hoping for an all-in brawl that results in 10 players from each side receiving 4 week suspensions.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
