Gawn - performed as expected

Rivers - continued excellent form

Windsor - conditions suited perfunctorily

vanRooyen - came of age

Salem - an important ingredient

Langdon - running game returned

McDonald - generally exudes reliability

Chandler - found some form

Viney - great first half

McVee - smooth as silk

Tholstrup - energy and promise

Neal-Bullen - selfless tagging game

Moniz-Wakefield - disposal needs work

Fritsch - had more involvement

May - reliable and impressive

Pickett - exciting first half

Sparrow - had some moments

Melksham - experience added dimension

Lever - was rarely noticed

Bowey - didn’t show out

Oliver - often a liability

Turner - had some moments

Woewodin - had negligible impact

Question mark on May’s assessment. He wasn’t great and looks very stiff and sore. Very lucky to be playing on a player who was clearly injured (Waterman) who still ran him around and kicked a couple.

Sparrow offers nothing.

I agree; May was often a metre or two behind.

You are harsh on Oliver. He combined with the others to keep Reid to minor impact.

I want him to start running assertively with the ball when he gets it and put the defence on its heels.  I understand he is playing to instruction however too often he gets it and stops.  Its hard to offer damage when doing that constantly.

Lever :Needs to contest marks, rather then talking about it.

TMac : Thank heavens !!!

Yes  (May) he was then he jumps up and takes a couple of impressive marks. With a pass to milkshake for a goal ( I think)

thought Clayton played within himself and his ability. But we won by 54 points. Round 10 they beat us by 35 points.

pretty good turnaround.  Go Dee’s

joeboy - brevis  Sporting Globe

Ed Langdon - mojo magic working

Caleb Windsor - get dictionary out?

Steven May - keep Petty campaign

Tom McDonald - best tall defender

Kade Chandler - underrated defensive forward

Taj Woewodin - 🎼 start me up

Looking forward to next Saturday night at the ‘G. Opening quarter was exemplary. Last quarter an incremental improvement.

Think we need Petty in the backline next week on 2 metre Peter.

Think we need Petty at Casey to find some form, Disco down back and JEFFO to debut!

Which forward are you dropping for Jeffo?

Chandler, to Sub, Jeffo to debut. Chandler has not hit the scoreboard anywhere near enough for a small forward!

Hard to kick goals from where he's playing. Screenshot_20240707_181051_AFL.thumb.jpg.7635cf835086b92d28e7f41ae511474c.jpg

A very good question.

I thought Lever was pretty poor. He struggles big time when he’s one-on-one against a genuine tall.

That bodes well given his last one was called Milkshake

Mat is a metre or two behind every week these days.

If he wasn't so good he'd be finished.

Old father time has brought a kit bag full of niggles

I have to agree, I think Mat was more than a meter behind his man. He must of been in the stands. I did not see Mat all game.

Hands up all Demonlander’s named Mat who attended today. Get in front FFS 😳😳🤩🤩😆😆

Oh, you need a referral to the Physio too 😬😬

Onya Joeboy.

Great to give the Funk and Wagnall* some exercise.

*it's a dictionary!

**the late, great Graeme Kennedy would occasionally reference it

With respect mate, you’ve been a tad obsessed with this Jeffo talk of late Picket. The kids finally finding his feet & starting to play some nice consistent footy. Why the rush? & especially how the forward line seems to be functioning the past couple weeks.

The only time is see Jeffo debuting is if & when we’re out of the finals race. & the longer he’s not in the one’s the better it would seem we’re going.

All things going well, he gets to build his case over a strong pre-season with a chance to impress for an early debut in 25’

Lever was absolutely terrible. I'm guessing he was directly responsible for about 8 shots on goal, mostly to Allen. He is tall, but he's not a genuine tall defender.

Funk and Wagnall was I believe made popular by frequent references in Rowan and Martin's Laugh In

Fair point but if Sparrow's career ends up being 50% that Melksham's I'll be rapt. I have my doubts.
