Well done Jb.

Once again a good summary.

Great job JB.

Chandler is like ANB. His effort off the ball is important. He runs all day from defence to the forward line. When he gets the ball,  he uses it well.

Love it!

Gawn: Greatest Ruckman ever

Hunter-More than expected

Pickett- Brillant brillant brillant

Clarry - Surgical in tight

Chandler - On the brink

Gawn - Legend status awaits

Viney - Over his injury

Tomlinson - Surprisingly impressive game

ANB - Career best year

Langdon - Run Forrest Run! 💨🏃🏻➡️

Still time for you to eat your words!!!

Well done joeboy

not sure I totally agree but it’s close

Hunter - 20 possies at 70% accuracy far from poor

Chandler - 18 possies, a goal and 6 score involvements

that's exactly the type of game you want from these guys!!

Luke Darcy said he would be in that conversation and with Dean Cox, the best two ruckmen of the recent generation.

an absolutely great. Gawn.

Back to Casey.  Hunter.

Where's his spark.  McAdam

I am not a Hunter fan, but he was ok today.

McAdam was poor again.

A third Teamer. They are seldom any good.

It's going back a bit but tell that to Brian Wilson - or in the present,  Jack Gunston. Or, come to think of it, Brodie Grundy.

...and, in common D'Land vernacular, 'Martin Pike and Greg Williams say hi.' He did say 'seldom' so, technically, still correct

Hunter.  Zero tackles. 1 contested possession. Twenty metres kicks. Safe and wide.   I think he still lacks what’s needed when the heat comes. Today was a nice Sunday afternoon walk v saints so ok.

Windsor barely touched the ball and also had 0 tackles. Think we chose to move the ball through the corridor more than the wings today.

None of them left because they could not get a game.

Harsh on Chandler. Thought he had some really good pressure acts on the wing.

Needs to kick more goals but I thought he was good yesterday.

Ask Brody about that?

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
