Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
Devastating for Jai. One minor consolation is his captain stands as an example of overcoming this challenge to recover and continue on for another 10 years

Was Kings comment in the presser about bringing in fresh legs a ruse?

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
For those of us with long memories my distain for Essendon eclipses everyone after the 2000 grand final Troy Simmonds Taken from the field on a stretcher after being hit high by Michael Long just before half-time. Brad Green Punched in the throat off the ball early in the match. Jeff Farmer Played through the match with broken ribs. And 26 years later GO DEES!

TRAINING: Wednesday 2nd April 2025
I have a question! I only got to see the first half of the Suns game and I was perplexed how badly Viney played. Every thing he touched, apart from one handball, failed. Did he improve in the 2nd half or is the option of dropping him unthinkable?

NON-MFC: Round 18
The commentators are doing their job, drumming up excitment for this 'skills below par' game. Gives me hope for our boys. From what I have seen so far without seeing the Collingwood/ Essendon game, our next game is a shoe in.

Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries
From my observation of the incident Collingwoods captain walking off , with no more than backwards glance, after heavily smashing his knee into an opponent who was clearly badly injured. Says it all about that club

Matthew Lloyd Worried About the Dees in 2024
I am loathed to comment on this topic as I never listen to the man in question but the reference to us being out in straight sets has so much to do with bad luck in 2023. Thank you Maynard. And the only reason he was on our side in the later half on the year (I have to take your word for that) is we are a bloody good team.

At the end of the game Tomlinson was fighting back tears for Melkite. Said it all.

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
I agree with your post about the ins Binman, especially the point about JVR. to enhance his development as a player and maximize the likelihood he is fit, firing and in ripping form come finals. I listened to Goodie just after the the GWS defeat and even though Fritsch was injured Goodie indicated, with a funny smirk on his face, that JVR was still 'learning'. It was obvious early in the week JVR would not be playing against the Saints Dees to win easily with the goal kicking yips to be put to bed!

Kysaiah Pickett on report
To me the vision shows he does slide up the shoulder of Smith and make contact with the head. He will be made an example of necessary stricter head contact rules. Time to stop using past outcomes as 'a get out of jail free card' and take this action out of the game. Apart from that - Wonderful game Kozzy. See you in a couple of weeks!

Harrison Petty incident
Agreed. Let it go. Petty's display as a feeling adult and show of integrity is enough said

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Carlton
The Dees will heading into the finals winning these last two games easily as their goal kicking clicks into 'finals' gear. We are playing ourselves into impressive form in the middle. Brisbane was lucky to win last night. A sad display of King's goal kicking yips a reminder to us the importance of a healthy mindset.
