And apologies to JV7 and CW6โ€ฆ couldnโ€™t fit 14 players into the votesย

Plenty of candidates, which is pleasing.

6 Petracca - great all-round performance.

5 Fritsch - excellent marking and finishing.

4 Gawn - aerially dominant as usual.

3 Salem - superb disposal skills that often go under the radar.

2 Petty - versatility invaluable after the two injuries.

1 ANB - it's just a pity his skill level doesn't quite match his phenomenal workrate.

Unlucky to miss out: nearly everyone.

6. Petracca - was everything, everywhereย

5. Gawn - dominant with strength and classย

4. Neal-Bullen - worked his backside off from the first bounceย

3. Oliver - a very Clayton gameย

2. McDonald - held the backline together even without his two big buddies. stacks of timely spoilsย

1. Pickett - Irresistible pressure and pure classย

ย

Trac - dominated.

Gawn - huge.

ANB - big earlyย

Langdon - also big early.ย

Sparrow - back to form

Pickett - just electric.

HM: Viney, Fritta and Riv.

Very happy with the newbies Howes and the Duke. Sparrow was better than the previous 2 games.ย

Because he actually played in his role as an inside mid. Salem didnโ€™t play midfield today at all.ย

Apologies to Sparrow, Langdon

Another very even team performance. ย The Hawks tried to โ€˜niggleโ€™ us off our game, but we stuck โ€˜fatโ€™, and stuck by each other. ย I loved it! ย  ย

The latter votes were a bit hard for me to untangle, but this is my best shot: ย  ย ย
6. ย Petracca ย - ย mid, forward or back. ย Just a powerful and stellar game!
5. ย Fritsch ย - ย five goals in the modern game is very bloody good.ย
4. ย Gawn ย - ย showed once again, why heโ€™s the best leader, and the best ruckman in the game.
3. Oliver ย - ย so happy to have him back, so happy to have him happy, so happy to have him getting back to his best.
2. ANB ย - ย an absolute workhorse, who doesnโ€™t always get the credit โ€ฆโ€ฆ but he certainly earned it today! ย  ย
1. ย Langdon ย - ย back to his best, which is very, very good.

Lots of โ€˜specialโ€™ mentions (which comes with a very even team performance). ย Sorry if I miss some but, in no particular order: ย Pickett, Windsor, Howes, McVee, Rivers and Viney.
