Needs to add strength and his disposal is poor. his kicks are very loopy and will be picked off every time in the afl

he went in a couple times when kolt followed nas down forward. seemed more like a quick replacement then a sign of things to come

I would add that sparrow is a lock at half forward. Has been very involved in the match sims and brings as much tackling and fwd half pressure as anyone on the team

Laurie played 2 games post bye not as sub (and only 1 as sub) last year and neither game was he over 25% cbas nor where they back to back games. Hard for a player to get into rhythm when they dont get a consistent run at the next level and are playing a completely different position when playing VFL.

They should give Laurie a game as a full time mid. Every time hes played for the dees it has been as a small forward which just isnt his natural position. He dominates as an inside mid at vfl level and has great disposal. Would love to see him get a good run at the afl level
