Richo and Hodgy arenโ€™t too bad. But [censored] me, the hyperbole from Brian Taylor and James โ€œjeeeeeepersโ€ Brayshaw is next level.ย

Don't they always??

Swans are a proper team. Will be there or thereabouts this year.

what is he up too?ย

This is consecutive game 216 for Crisp, so it would take this season and one more to pass Stynes.

BT barracking for in the commentary box is pure ๐Ÿคขย

And he's within half a season of Ooze.

Lovely to see the pies get pantsed on the night they unfurl the flag.

Do I have this correct

are Sydney taking the mark, ย staying still rather than going back to take a quick kick, the opponents do not stand right on the mark. ย Then the swans play on by walking around the Collingwood playersย

ย

did they do that to us as well. ??

Tired of reading comments like โ€œthis puts our loss last week into perspectiveโ€.ย
How about instead we discuss how Sydney uses the footy going inside fwd 50 compared to us.

I think you could make the point how well Sydney use the ball all over the ground. They still have two excellent players to come back in as well.ย

Gulden's kicking really is a thing of beauty.

Pendlebury - 1 season too long.

Sydney - very good TEAM football. Contributors everywhere, running to help each other.

Mason Cox - wow that has been a terrible game of footy.

What on earth is in the water in Sydney. Playing out of their skin. Fantastic footy to watch, and couldnโ€™t be against a better team.

They used the small ground well last week but are also spreading really effectively on the G too.

The Demon stalwart surpassed the number of his father's appearances for the club towards the end of the season. As he approaches his thirties, his pace is inevitably slowing, and he is likely to explore alternative opportunities beyond the team's midfield.

โ€œDiscoโ€ took his time (four seasons) but the mid-season draftee has been a shining light of Melbourne's campaign, improving to become a versatile option at either end of the ground. He has great marking skills which allows him to play as a marking target up forward or an intercepting defender down back.ย

The skipper delivered another outstanding season, leading the team from the front, participating in every game, and earning club champion honours, while also securing an equal record eighth All-Australian blazer as a ruckman.ย  Max Gawn is arguably the greatest exponent of ruck skills in the history of the game; an exceptional leader who has guided the club to a premiership, through the challenging times that followed, and now into the next phase of its storied history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrupย

It was a frustrating season for the former number 13 draft selection, who failed to build momentum in his second campaign; Tholstrup played only nine games, having been omitted twice and substituted out three times. However, he demonstrated promising signs in the midfield at Casey towards the end of the season, and big things are anticipated from him in the coming years.
