John Ralph, On the Couch just now implied there's concerns.....   FMD

What sort of concern?

Seriously, why are people saying that they have sources on a player's medical condition?

If Fritta has the same mobility as he did when he came back on the ground, I'd play him regardless of the diagnosis.

His job is to sensationalize things, wouldn't be taking that as a reason to be concerned

Questions must be asked why we put him back on the ground in a dead rubber.

Understand that the scan is precautionary but shouldn't the first precaution have been not to make it worse.

So very Melbourne. FMD.

If he's damaged it, then it's season over anyway with only 5 weeks to go

So really it's to test out if he's OK, or prove he's not under match conditions

Seems like he's OK or damage is tollerable under match conditions

Routine scan. Would’ve been pre-scheduled for this morning regardless of how he got on yesterday. They scanned it to check everything: plates, screws etc.

of course there'd be "concerns"

even if there was the slightest of concerns, then after what happened on sunday you'd be negligent if you didn't send him off for precautionary scans

the way he came back on and played is cause to be optimistic

lets just wait and see. even if cleared on the scans they can still be very helpful to the physios to help in his normal post game recovery treatments.

He limped off in pain having hurt the foot he'd broken 7 weeks ago

He'd be having a scan post game because of whatever happened in the game, regardless of any prior plans

In that case, he definitely plays, alternating in the ruck with Max, chop out for Maysie and kicking the lazy six from the hotdog stand.

No, he was having the scan regardless.

Seriously, every single AFL Player should have foot scans after every game.
The running stress and directional changes within a match are off the charts

Bailey was very chirpy and positive when interviewed in the rooms after the match, so it can’t be too bad, unless he woke up this morning with a reaction…

I trust in WCW's intel.  Mitch Cleary ain't best friends with Momma Fritsch!

He could of got things confused with Momma Fritsch's fracture.

After his third quarter painful tippy toe through the tulips jaunt he moved freely all over the ground. Kicked a 50 metre goal and two sublime snaps. I’ll wait for the bad news from the club if any before I panic. If the news is bad I have bottle of Rivers Royale Kill Devil to end the misery.

Steven May played and played well in a GF with a significant tear in his hamstring. Fritta came back on and tore the game open.

I don’t care what the scan says, he’s good to go in the QF.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
