I just realised that in the excitement and anxiety of it all I didn’t select Priority membership allocation. I don’t care that much. I just need to be there.

🤦🏻‍♂️

Next time I'm going to have a camera filming myself going through this process so I can study it the same way the team studies the match tape after the game.

there are still plenty seats available!

All of our priority member seats are pretty much gone but heaps still available on level 4.

Do not worry if you are in the ponsford, we have 3 bays on level 1 and 3 on level 4 as well. You won’t be alone.

Is M50 a Melbourne bay? I selected priority member so fingers crossed.

Honestly I can see why people are having trouble. Why call the barcode field a password field?

Older people, or people who are not tech savvy will always be disadvantaged in these [censored] situations. it's all about cost ,as usual, [censored] cost cutting !

Like many, I kind of panicked and went for “best available”. Got given M35 Row N. In theory, a good seat. In practice, horrifically close to the Pies cheer squad (behind point post, Southern Stand end).

And on my own!

Will either be the best or worst afternoon of the year.

M35 is a Melbourne bay as well as M30 and M31

Good seeing everyone snapping up seats.

Still feels weird to me that the last finals win that a lot of us would have seen in person had the following players running around Jetta, OMac, Lewis, Frost, Hannan, Weideman, AVB, Jonesy, Tyson.

Bitter as someone who considers themselves pretty savvy online I really struggled and missed a few tricks. If I'm struggling with it I can't imagine how the less savvy are coping with all this. It's not good.

Are there any bad seats on N?

My preference is behind the goals because of view of structures etc, but obviously the other end is far away. (I'm lucky this time, I got N3!)

The wing means you get the best view of both ends but it's harder to see the structures and width of the ground.

Winners all around on Level 2!

No. No bad seats. I had to get 7 tickets so you're limited. Tempted to forget the rest of the family next time and sit by myself in the best seats possible which is my preference anyway.

Add me to the M50 crew - 5 of us in row G.

Not my preferred spot - you dont see much that low & close - but it seems its a Melbourne bay so if nothing else the excitement (or disappointment...) will be palpable

Those of you who can actually see the sport from higher up, please guide us with your cheers

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
