That was easy. North have a long hard road to travel.

everyone performed but Iโ€™m not convinced Schache is the answer. Letโ€™s see how he goes against the suns.

I canโ€™t be bothered going to find the thread but Chandlermodium stocks must be about equal with Appleโ€™s after that.ย

Goodwin was so happy he high fived his security guards

He is soooo cuddly. I just saw the president give him a big smooch at the end of the team song.

Disgusting ๐Ÿ˜

Just need the antidote for the woman behind me to shut up because we didn't win by 100 points.

The only downside was the missed 100.

Go Dees!

At least we cracked the ton.ย
ย

For a team coming off 5 days, with a trip up to GC, the switch off to preserve a couple of percent for next week is fine by me.

Everything clicked. Clear night at the G. Beautiful to watch. Crowd was pretty lame, but itโ€™s North. No injuries. Seagulls absolutely rampant all game. What happened to the falcon? Onto next week.ย

ย

Funny enough I wouldn't watch a replay of that.ย

Did what we had to do just need to do the same next week against Gold coastย

When was the last time we kicked 22.7? How good has our goal kicking been this year.ย

Asked for a 15 goal win in the pregame thread, got exactly that.ย
ย

Shouldโ€™ve won by more.ย

Great win, made even better with the memory of North beating us time after time for years.ย

Excellent win

Definite percentage boosterย

but โ€ฆ only the Dees would allow 3 soft goals in the last 3 minutes to reduce margin from 108 to 90 points!!!ย

Yeah.

Only the dees.

Sheesh.

Concerned that despite the big win our 2 tall fwds only get 2 goals between them and didnโ€™t do a whole lot else. We really need Brown or Tmac in form and back as they would add so much moreย

At least the players showed up, cos the supporters definitely didnโ€™t. Shocking crowd for a club with almost 60k members.

Yep. Pathetic crowd. Perfect weather. You knew it was gonna be a probable giant win. Last home game for a month. Rubbish turnout.ย

And I reckon half of those behinds were rushed. Probably we just missed a couple of set shots.

Very professional effort on a short break. Flashes of excellent ball movement and mostly the right tempo.ย

The most pleasing part was the unselfish work of our forwards. Fritsch and Pickett clearly got the message after some of their efforts last year and itโ€™s great to see it spread through the side.ย

And why do you think that is? And remember they ended up with 3 players on the bench due to injury.ย

Schache isnโ€™t the answer. Petty back in or BB depending on form at Casey (with Petty to go back)ย

And will get the same result with BBB.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demonsโ€™ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigersย was building toward that single, unforgettable moment whenย Kozzie Pickettย soared aboveย Campbell Grayย and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026ย Frank โ€˜Checkerโ€™ Hughes Medal.ย
