So true.

That's what I'll be reading about in tomorrows papers.

Sitting in the stands on Saturday night we were refelcting on how blessed we now our to turn up each week and watch the talent before our eyes and the passison within the team/fans/club....etc.

Thanks MFC.  Thanks Kysiah and friends(trac, max, Oliver...........)

Thinking about this on the weekend. Thinking about all those lifelong supporters that passed away before the 21 Granny and recent success,  and how blessed the rest of us are to watch our team with all its stars. I said to my boys recently that they need to appreciate and enjoy this period because this is a special time to be a lifelong Demon supporter.

Can be injected into the midfield where he can cause the opposition a lot of problems.  So he's not a one dimensional player

Sensational - more good news to come re Chandler, JJ….Lamb and Taylor should be knighted .

Is that what you are hoping or you have intel?

Chandler's a key re-signing for our future forward line.

Now we can go to the G for the rest of the season and genuinely enjoy Kozzie's talents with the comfort of knowing that he's ours for many a year.

He thinks he knows everything that jerk. I hope he's held to account on one of his many forums.

Kozzy's "Heart Beats True".

If he went, I was going to pretend to be all stoic and whatever about it, but in reality I would 100% have cried and I don't think I've done that about a player leaving, ever.

Just so happy now!

I mean, just look at him:

Take a bow Tim Lamb, really good work, especially getting it done before mid season when the angst on this site would have been at nuclear waste levels..

Brilliant news, I happier now than I have been after our last couple of wins.
Have to admit when he didn’t sign before the start of the season I was concerned.
He’s just such a joy to watch. I think those on here that put his below par form leading into this weekend might have been on the money thinking it was contract related. His performance and body language on Saturday certainly looked more like the Kossie we know and love.
Such a great time to be a Dees supporter.

You get the impression that Chandler loves the Club and is loving being part of this team.

Not since Farmer would I have been so heartbroken to lose a player. I would cry and never watch him play again for fear it would cause me too much heartache.

Best news ever!!

Extremely happy with another 4 years of magical wizardry!

Never in doubt! 👏 The difference in how our club is run now from 10 years ago makes my heart skip a beat.

Beautiful words from Kozzy:

"Giving back to my community and putting smiles on kids' faces makes me happy. I was once that little kid and it's special for me to now be giving back and doing what I love, surrounded by people I love..."

Great tribute to family, friends, teammates and coaches.

Seriously, Tim Lamb should get an OBE for his services to MFC list management.

I love the relationship he has with Goodwin. Every time he came to the bench on Saturday Goodwin put his arms around him. You can tell he’s a very important figure in his life and is a key reason why he’s staying.

Kosi is a wonderful role model and example of what talent combined with hard work can help you achieve in life. He must be so inspirational to so many young indigenous kids. Having had a tough upbringing, he remained focused and is achieving his dreams.

Fritter signed until 2026 too

AFL: Bayley Fritsch signs contract extension with Melbourne until 2026 season (nine.com.au)

Club doing an amazing job - what a contrast from the dark days when players couldnt get out quick enough

Ta. Post duly fixed!

As an aside, and at the risk of derailing the koz fest, outside of dees supports, is Fritter the most under rated player in the AFL?

A relatively comparable player role wise is Jemery Cameron.

Cameron is an undisputed star, and his numbers this season are unbelievable. I'm not saying Fritter is better, or even as good as Cameron.

Rather, i'm using Cameron as a benchmark for Fritter. And when you compare their career stats , Fritter doesn't lose too much by way of comparison (its worth noting that Fritter played a big chunk of i think 2019 in defence):

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
