We can hope.

checked the ladder predictor

would need around a 40 pt win to the hawks and a narrow win to north

Narrow win to North? Do you mean GC?

I wouldn’t get too carried away about the prospect of Hawthorn beating Fremantle at the G today. I can clearly recall the night when those teams met earlier this year and the Dockers gave the Hawks a 69 point flogging at Optus Stadium. It was the night of King Charles III’s coronation and I was trying desperately to avoid the boredom of that spectacle only to fall into a worse hell in my capacity as a Freo Death Rider. The Hawks couldn’t take a trick that night and the Dockers played like certain finalists.

And please don’t remind me that today’s game’s is being played at the MCG. We know what happened in Round 11 at that venue.

And that’s my dose of DRFSS for today.

Let’s go Hawks and Gold Coast.

I find myself conflicted.

It seems we might have had a deal available with WC to get 1.

If JT was set on Reid I trust him.

Personally I would be happy with 4 and maybe trading for Suns’ 5 and then go to the draft with an enormous hand, to bring in several really talented players.

I think Horrible Hawthorn are a good chance of beating Feckless Fremantle at the MCG.

Especially with Jai Newcombe back in for the Hawks.

Nevertheless, we shall wait and see what happens I guess? 🤷🏼‍♂️

no i was going with the dream scenario of us getting pick 4 and WC finishing last so we can trade for pick 1

Thanks Freo!!  Have enjoyed this death ride more than I should have.  Bell (end) has now paid massive overs for Jacko.  He will serve them well, but he has now served us well - a flag player in 2021, and #4 or 5 now, on top of the other picks.  Seems like a deal we have done very well out of!

GO Dees, and although I disgust myself by saying it - Go….hawks??

Freo's fall has just made the Jacko trade closer to it's true value. We would have been stitched up if the first round pick had of been late teens as Freo had expected.

At the MCG today to show some visiting international friends our great game but most importantly, the joy of death riding.

Go Hawks!

The dream was a comprehensive hawks win and North by the slimmest of margins. Can't see it happening now.

Guess we want suns to smash north to get above freo on percentage.

Fingers crossed the Hawks lift and win this.

Also hoping the Suns belt North from here as insurance.

Worst outcome unfolding for us with these two games.

North likely to keep pick 1.

Freo increasing their percentage on gold coast by another 1.5%.

Pick 5 now most likely.

Assuming Freo win, we are very lucky to get pick 5 out of a 10 win season

the team in ninth are on 11 wins

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best.
