NOT SURE THE ABOVE GRAPHIC ON THE YOUTUBE VIDEO IS CORRECT 🤦‍♂️

It also is randomly shown well before SG has finished.

Insert Fritch where they put Petty's name, foot 3-5 weeks. I think that is the only mistake.

From AFL article https://www.afl.com.au/news/982153/medical-room-the-full-afl-injury-list-r19

PLAYER INJURY ESTIMATED RETURN
 Bayley Fritsch  Foot  5-6 weeks
 Tom McDonald  Ankle  2-4 weeks
 Clayton Oliver  Hamstring  3 weeks
 Harrison Petty  Ribs  Test
 Daniel Turner  Wrist  5-6 weeks
 Kye Turner  Groin  TBC

And instead of Bowey, replace him with Petty.

They clearly stuffed up the graphics so I’ve extrapolated the stats from last week’s reports and come up with this:-

Injury List: Round 19

Michael Hibberd - Kidney | Available
Harry Petty - Ribs  | Test
Clayton Oliver - Hamstring | 3 Weeks
Tom McDonald - Ankle | 2 - 4 Weeks
Bayley Fritsch - Foot | 5 - 6 Weeks
Daniel Turner - Hand | 5 - 6 Weeks
Kye Turner - Groin | TBC

I have a feeling that in the case of Clarrie they went ultra-conservative with his assessment and it would not surprise me if he came back sooner than this.

It would also not surprise me that they are in Bikini Mode, to keep the real extent of Claytons injury at bay, lest an outcry!!

The [censored] went ultra conservative with Danger last year and gave him extra time to rest and recover.

Is it possible that Clarrie is on a similar path? So long as we are winning without him, let's make sure that we have a fully rested and recovered Clarrie back for the finals.

The scene is perfectly set for a couple of Mystery Injuries of the Week.

As far as Clarrie is concerned, I don’t think the selectors will pick him unless they’re convinced by the medical team that he’s right to go. Given that we play North Melbourne in three weeks time, I can’t see that happening until after that game.

Harrison Petty's injury. Didn't see it.

He wasn't targeted , was he?

I don't think so. He was more or less landed on. Having said that, I have no doubt he'd be the recipient of a rib-tickler from Tex Walker (amongst others) this week, so I prefer he didn't play until cherry ripe. Two weeks in a row of being subbed out is more than enough. Out, Petty - In, Tommo

He injured himself the previous week during a contest against St Kilda. He looked very sore after it.

Hit the ground hard in a tackle v Brisbane, looked in real pain with bruised ribs

Surely can't play this week after aggravating, or risks same issue again after a bump or tackle

He seems to find a way to get smashed every game. Not conducive to a long career as a key defenders.

Let's tear this place apart!

So Clarry has gone from 3-4 a fortnight ago, to 4 last week, to 3-4 again today. Hope he can actually get back this season.

tendon injury was the rumour from the get go

was probably 10-12 from then but @Webber or another may know more about expected timelines

Just wondering how long our midfield can function well without him. At this point it's looking a bit like a Jack Viney 2018 situation where he may lack match fitness but we'll go all in on getting him right for finals.

I reckon it’s panning out to be precisely a tendon injury timeline. He’ll be back, and knowing Clarry’s intent (vomiting with exhaustion in his first ever practice match), he won’t play like he’s underdone.

Question on Oliver remains as to whether he is progressing. The communication out of the club seems to be the same for the last few weeks in that he is stuck at 90% or thereabouts.

@ all the physio's, is this progression normal for an injury such as his.

We all know he'll give it all on his return, but you do need a few weeks-months to sharpen skills, match fitness etc etc. I'd want at least 3-4 games into Oliver before going into finals.
