GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Carlton

That Fisher goal was Brayshaw’s. Could have given the handball and instead kicks it out on the full

This is Final style footy at its best and most you you lot need to learn how to watch a game.

Doesn’t look like the finals I watched last year

Browns a total liability

It’s embarrassing to watch, no mobility can’t jump, does nothing

No, it looks like one basically [censored] team and one very good horribly out of form team thrashing around playing footy on a beach in thongs

Well done Fritta  our last memory of a crap half is a goal, good to take into the break!

Carlton are running about 5 tags.

With one team pretending it’s ruckmen are key forwards and watching them spray easy shots all over the place because the only fit actual key forward it has can’t get within 10 metres of the ball when he’s brought up from the twos

A lot of Carlton fans in N14 of the Warne stand on level 2..

Does any other side [censored] up so many promising forward entries. One thing I'll say it's our style of defensive game and not a shoot out. Hopefully we'll wear them down.

Brown's had 1 handball, 0 kicks, 0 marks.

If that was Weid his thread would have another 8 pages by now.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
