What biased comments!! They are idiots

Incidental contact
 WHAT BS

He has eyes on the ball
WHAT BS

Trying to punch the ball
 WHAT BS

Cripps decided to bump

Jumped to leave ground

Direct contact with head

Loss of consciousness

Player subbed straight off

THATS 3-4 WEEKS, Probably two with guilty plea

The Lions have played well and will be tough to beat in a fortnight.  They play their home ground well

Carlton are ordinary and if we lost to them next week (with or without Cripps) that would be a huge disappointment

12.10 to 3.6 is damning

Carlton looked to have got their loading wrong (sorry, just saw my opportunity to turn this thread into every other thread and took it).

According to Leigh Mathews - “I suspect that’s incidental contact” LMAO đŸ€ŁÂ

Bit like the way Elbows Leigh played...incidental contact

= mandatory suspension if rules are followed!

we will see

Another problem is he made no attempt to touch the ball, just braced for the bump and got him.

It would be nice if Carlton play like this next week.

If we can't beat this mob off a travelling 6 day break vs  us 8 day. Stick a fork in us

If Saints win the night before against Brisbane... Carlton will be fighting to stay in the 8

Should be a good win for us but.................

carlscum only 3 goals and they scored them all in <5 minutes

they look like they have fallen off a cliff

Yeah your probably right.

Would love to see Carlton miss the 8 after all the Carry on earlier this season

Carlton will be without Cripps, travelling back from interstate, 2 days less rest. Also missing Kennedy, Hewitt, Newman etc

if we don't hammer them we don't deserve finals, let alone top 4

Carlton getting murdered at the centre bounce. Another reason to be optimistic next week

Oh I was talking about JK at The Eagles, but everything I said applies to JK at the Swannies.

I think he was hoping to go on somewhere else next year, but this new injury might be the end of him sadly.

Seems it’s a hammy that will likely end his season and possibly his career.

But the WCE JK is easily my favourite non-MFC player. No fuss. So humble and unassuming. Just gets on with the job. He’ll be sorely missed.

Carlton can be hot or cold, from one week to the next

They can play fast, down the corridor style and have the balance to kick goals and defend.

The fast, take us on footy has been our Achilles heal this year.

We thought we could control the Pie when they came at us.

We need to be ready for their best.

Against Brisbane, they can't get their hands on it.

Lions percentage 126.6 at 3/4 time. 2.3% behind us. Can Blues.

Cripps won't be rubbed out. There is one main reason. They play us and the filth in the next 2 weeks and would have to win one of them. Tigers should win both of their games and the dogs should as well which would place Carlton out of the eight. Saints probably won't win another game for year. The AFL want Carlton in the 8 so will make sure their most important player does not get rubbed out. It may not make a difference anyway but they want Carlton to have as much probability of making the 8 as they can.

Still a 54 point gap between Us and The Lions so we should stay third for at least one more week.

Make that 61 points.

I'd call you a conspiracy nutter but that would also make me a conspiracy nutter. I genuinely think the AFL would be keen to give both teams a leg up.

This is good, first it keeps Brisbane at bay and second takes a little of the heat out of the hiding Carlton will get in the press this week.

Margin’s back to 27pts. đŸ˜±

Why aren't the Bears players allowed to own a dog?

Because they can't hold a lead...

I'll see myself out

  • CASEY: Coburg

The Casey Demons returned to their home ground which was once a graveyard for opposing teams but they managed to gift the four points on offer to Coburg with yet another of their trademark displays of inaccuracy in front of goals and some undisciplined football that earned the displeasure of the umpires late in the game. The home team was welcomed by a small crowd at Casey Fields and looked right at home as it dominated the first three quarters and led for all bar the last five minutes of the game. In the end, they came away with nothing, despite winning everywhere but on the scoreboard and the free kick count.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

The Demons were wasteful early before putting the foot down early in the 2nd quarter but they chased tail for the remainder of the match. They could not get their first use of the footy after half time and when they did poor skills, execution and decision making let them down.
