The heart beats true 18,201 Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 The whole experience at the ground feels like B grade Basketball. Weird vibes.
Engorged Onion 10,224 Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) With all the pontification about a 100 point drubbing - forgetting Naarm are playing an AFL side - has anyone thrown their play station controller and rage quit yet? Edited May 21, 2022 by Engorged Onion 1

Ignoring the fact that a team with nothing to lose are always going to give their absolute all. We don't need to smash them in the first quarter. Yep. If I was a North supporter I’d be happy with that quarter. They put in. I said it last week that there are no bad teams, only teams that can’t sustain effort and North are one of them. There’s still plenty of time for the lapse to come and for us to skip away. 1
spirit of norm smith 16,677 Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 Q1. Nth bringing pressure and effort. Dees not quite on point. Fritsch tackle was great stuff. Evens in clearances. Dees goalkicking is not quite as sharp as it needs to be.

Chook 15,068 Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) As much as we talk about poor forward connection, that was perfect forward connection between Brown and Rivers. Brown led back to the square gesturing to Rivers where he wanted it (20 out on the far pocket, a hard kick but Rivers can get there). He then led to where he wanted it, and Rivers put it there. Brown grabbed the mark as it was put to his advantage. Too bad about the kick for goal from Brown, but that was forward 50 gold. Edited May 21, 2022 by Chook
