I'm going for some mini upsets with little to no confidence.

Tigers, dockers, crows, dees, power, blues, suns, bombers, swans.

On a side note, Jack Carroll will make his debut for the blues this week after some great form in the VFL. Some demonlanders will be familiar with him as a popular player linked with one of our first round picks in 2020. We ultimately used those picks on Bowey and Laurie. Despite media links, we also overlooked him at pick 34 for Rosman with the blues eventually selecting him at 41. Think the kid has talent and look forward to see how he goes at the top level.

Wow Gil.  No wonder you have swanned off to the US this week.  What an absolute bewdy you have left us.  WCE V Toiges, at 8:10 pm whats more.
I suspect that, diehard Tiger fans aside, it will hit record low ratings.
Well done and enjoy your junket.

Even though the dockers are shaping as a rival to us this year i still want them to beat the cats.

Taberner is a big out for them so they may struggle to score but i reckon their defensive game will strangle the cats and they'll do enough to win

Can't wait to sit back tonight and watch the match of the round between Sydney and Brisbane.....oh wait wrong game. It's the battle between a team that's falling down the premiership cliff at great speed versus a side that's been flogged by a combined 147 points over the last fortnight. Revolving fixture working beautifully.

Wouldn't be surprised if Port knock off St Kilda this week, and GC to beat Collingwood for my two smokies.

How the hell was this stinking pile of crap game get a Friday night time slot, 2 of probably the oldest lists who were in all likelihood going to go backwards after last year.

Would be annoyed if I was Tigers (petty AFL payback?) going to Perth after playing on Sunday night.

Crap scheduling Auld!

Essendon dropped Shiel. Not mucking around

Yes, Shiel should shoulder the blame for Parish having 18 more touches than him and going 40m further with having 18 fewer touches…

Scapegoat, sacrificial lamb, whatever animal - it’s a bit rich. And also pause for thought for those that change clubs - you are always on the outer of the inner, anything goes wrong - you can find yourself at the meat market.

Shiel should have been dropped the week before if they were serious, the footage of him highlighted I think by King was disgraceful, to say the least. That he played last week says Rutton is not much chop IMO

Parish should have gone too.

Its laughable that there was this equivalence being made to Oliver as there were pick 4 and 5. There’s a reason Mahoney got to that pick.

Didnt want to get stuck with Darcy…

West Coast are a rabble who will want to finish bottom of the ladder to finally get a number one draft pick (have they ever had one?).

And the tigers have been better than their win loss tally suggests, were really good against us in terms of intensity and pressure, and are still playing for a finals spot.

Grimes in is huge as their defence has been super wobbly and they lack height down back.

Lambert is also a great in and smart to bring Soldo in to exploit the fact that Nic Nat is out. The tigers will smash them in clearances and post clearance contested possessions.

And after trying to suffocate us last week (which meant they couldn't transition the ball from their back half because all their numbers were flooded up around the ball, and therefore struggled to score), they will relish the space and time the Eagles will give them and look to get it forward and attack.

All of which means that i think the tigers will win, and win well (i'm predicting a 5 goals plus margin)

So to Richmond to make their line of 14.5 is rolled solid gold bet.

Shiel has been average at times, but he is not the reason the Bombers are losing. They only have 2 metre Peter - and he is working hard - but they have a poor half forward line, and look like the Dees circa 2015 kicking inside 50. Their defence is brittle, and the entire squad reacts too slowly on transition.

WCE v Tiges tonight might be a better game than many think - they are both struggling so it might at least be a good contest. Nah, can't keep up the facade - tonight will be rubbish but I will watch it because it is Friday night and the only other option is some of my family are watching Magic Mike. Makes WCE v Tiges look very appealing.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
