Well, you’ll be happy now. Their no. 11 won’t be there for long. As good as done and dusted.

Kayo is behind. For me anyways. But well done to our girls!!! 💚 💛

In NBA terms, that’s a 64- 0 run in the last 42.37 mins. Tigers are cooked.

Totally unable to play their brand for a full game.

Yep Chook and they have the Dogs next Saturday night. 1-3 for the loser.

I haven't seen a team capitulate this badly since....last night.

Couple of things…. Tigs hahhahahaha, seeing Hardwick after every loss is brilliant.

Seeing teams go to the fans after a regulation win like they’ve made finals, like we used to until the last few years, makes me feel so good about where we are.

Momentum is such a massive thing in AFL these days. Even going back to the first game of the year. Not sure why, but whichever team can minimise the damage when the opposition has the momentum will go a long way to winning enough games to make the 8/4/2, then winning the big one.

I’m sure we will lose a game at some point but geez it’s hard to pick a side that will beat us, maybe Brisbane if the stars align

It’s like every club is trying to replicate our PF and GF games. Only difference is we done it at the money end of the season. Impossible to keep that style of game going for throughout a season.

Oi!!!

😉

Feels like Josh Kennedy has been around forever. Probably coz he has. One of my fave non-Dees players.

With Paddy Ryder back, Ben Long who is as tough (and sometimes brutal) as a cats head, and Zak Jones still to come back, the Saints will be ok. Too many soft-ish players at the moment who prefer an outside role. Fix that with some grunt and they could worry a few. I rate Ratten highly, and actually enjoy watching his team play.

Proven again today.

What on earth are the blues happy about.? 4 h goals after 1/4 time.

Wtf.

Blueprint is there for all to see. When they are going full pelt try to keep with the turn over game. When they tire, start landing the blows.

Long was the sun today and came on early after Higgins was knocked senseless.

I do not think I have seen a side handball as much as west coke. It's like watching Benny Hill.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
