What an absolute bunch of fickle dullards Fremantle supporters are. They bought potential. For some reason, every time Fremantle pay a large price for a player, their supporters think that player is going to be a saviour and bring them instant success. Losers.

The problem for Dogga is that with us he could play on potential for another 2 years and do some nice things occasionally. Freo feel like they paid a lot for him now, so they want results now.

I still think he’s gunna be a gun, but they won’t get consistent value until 2025.

100%. With us he was on icing on top player, with them, he'll be expected to be a dominant player which right now, he isn't capable of.

I hope for Jacksons sake he thrives under pressure because he's going to have to. Could quickly become a whipping boy if he doesn't progress fast enough.

I may be wrong but he looked a little overweight to me.

Anyway, we will get him back in a couple of years, when they tire of him not living up to their expectations.

Didn't catch the Essendon game, but saw that Weid kicked 2. Good on him!

I have zero sympathy for him. This is what he wanted and so he must now put up with it.

Freo FD are the actual ones to blame - they need a KPF and Jackson is not one. They should have encouraged LJ to sign for another 2 years with us and let him develop some more before recruiting a readymade.

GOOD! He chose to leave!

He certainly looks like he has gained some kg's around the waist.

That jumper is hideous

just shows how magnificent our Home strip really is

Can't believe he didn't take a mark. He will soon realise being the number 1 ruck is going to be tough work. Expectations will be high

That’s an insane number of pages devoted to just two teams.  Why would you do it to yourself?!

That's why they're who they are and they are exactly who we thought they were.

I don't love the word but they are indeed losers.

Yeah but what about his underground handball

At least Collingwood paid for that mark.

Agree, that not a single mark is pretty concerning!

Inside at marvel too.

Which by the by looked awful.

Jackson looked unfit to my eye - too heavy. If true, I'd be furious I I was a freo fan.

You can excuse a scratchy debut.

But if there is no injury, or similar (eg post season surgery that impacts on preseason preparation) there is no excuse for a boom recruit you've paid through the nose for and who you've gambled your future on (by giving up draft picks) not being in cherry ripe condition round one.

Weed on the other hand looked in ripping nick.

To be fair we only took 2 contested marks, both maxy.

I couldn't believe that stat. I had ti check again coz it didn't seem right. The dogs had nine by way of comparison.

Was thrilled for him. He looked very good and genuinely happy.

A new start was the best thing for him.

They were bagging him out the moment the trade happened.  That was my biggest worry, that they'd treat him the same way as they treated Hogan. They're vipers at Freo

The Perth fish bowl can eat you up and spit you out pretty quick.. just ask Hogan.

Not entirely sure Jackson and his family really took that into consideration when they were pressuring him to come back.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
