Bitterly disappointed overall today.
The ball (watching on TV) only came his way a few times.
Not really sure who would want him at the moment.
Amso very uncertain if BBB would have done any better quite frankly with the pathetic delivery forward.

De Goey is a poor mans Christian Petracca. We have the real deal so no need to bring in the fake version.

And to think people didn’t want to trade Weids for DeGoey

i think he'll stay, a 2yr deal on no where near the money we previously offered him or he wanted and if after next year he hasn't pushed tmac out of the side which could still happen given tmac wasnt much better today then he might leave. but he wont want to leave on a multi year deal coz his value is at its lowest he won't get paid much at all anywhere

You reckon De Goey is what we need? Have you been watching him play this year?

We would have won today if Weiderman was in black n white and Degoey in the red and blue.

Why ?? Has done NOTHING save for a 3 goal effort vs Geelong and one or two cameos! Just hasn't got it!

Obviously doesn’t like any physicality.

Rather run under the ball then take the hit from behind, or takes a first grab and fumbles due to his perceived anticipation of a hit coming.

I would keep him with us, i would ask him to stay with us next year, then i would stick him away with the meanest dude we can find for two months one on one at the end of the year.

Then i would tell everyone else to stick it

Put him 1 on 1 against Steven May at training each week and don’t let him back into the team until he can consistently beat May.

Right now he just gets towelled up by AFL defenders.

Right now his behind Tmac, B.Brown, Daw and M.Brown. Needs to start from the bottom again unfortunately and work his way back up the pecking order.

Absolute joke we are playing ahead of a Coleman medallist.

I think they mean the Mornington Peninsula Football League is circling!

    TRAINING: Monday 11th November 2024

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. Looks like the leadership group is TMac, Viney Chandler and Petty. They look like they have sli

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. After sustaining a torn ACL in the final match of the 2023 season Jake added a bit to the attack late in the 2024 season upon his return. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses. 2024 Player Reviews: #42 Daniel Turner

The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025.
