Epic decade of rock. Me, I think One Hot Minute is the RHCPs epic album, it’s ridiculous. What’s the cutoff date, does it  capture Alice in Chains’s Dirt?

Just saw two blatant throws by Geelong in a few seconds - OK umpires, you have done your job - now even up the numbers

Rowan loves himself

Giants need to run in numbers…

We were down by 44pt against Geelong in the third. Anything is possible

But both GWS and Geelong look so tired, don't see any kind of run happening

GWS is embarrassing. Their forwardline is more abandoned than Melbourne after 9pm.

Umpires giving dubious frees left right and centre to Jeelong but  GWS are embarrasingly inept

Yes, and yes

I really don;t think we should be all that worried about playing Geelong next week. They are old and slow and there for the taking

My great insight for the evening.

there are so many dislikable players in this Geelong side 🤮

Hawkins - miraculously clumsy when it suits him (eg. highly tackles, errant elbows)

Dangerfield - smug

Selwood - jerk

Smith - hated him at Hawthorn

Cameron - looks like Smith

Guthrie - white guy with locks

Miers - white guy with locks & a stupid first name

Rohan - I think even Geelong supporters don’t like him

Umpires so clearly Love Heelong

Well, quite. Outshined too. This could get quite lively.

who knew there was such an SG contingent here!

did you see them? I was lucky enough to see them at GC Big Day Out in 2012. I’ll never forget it. We’d just moved to the northern rivers from Melb, and when SG came on, a summer storm rolled in with lightning and thunder as Searching started

Kanye was an anti climax after that.

just lightning, rain and SG. Epic.

I actually saw their 2nd last gig before they split first time at Horden Pavilion in Sydney around 96-97.

Also saw Audioslave at same venue! I lived in USA when Superunkown  was released and loved it. Badmotorfinger had been on high rotation on cassette in my car for 2 years prior!

They were shot at 3 quarter time last week. To be fair they've been on the road for about 3 months plus their two best forwards out, it's gotta take its toll.

Pretty ordinary game

Agree wholeheartedly

Game looks over - but come on Mumford, where are you?  Wipe that smug look off Smith's face.

Toby should be ashamed, but probably isn't.

Mumford has a chance after the siren - goal ... now get out and take on Hawkins fist to fist, and add in Selwood and that smug Smith

Their best player has only himself to blame. Their forwardline is a disgrace and he could make a massive difference.

Owned every single one of them!

Give a Mummy a few rails at the break and let’s see what happens

Mummy gives the Giant's a heartbeat. See, I told you all they should put Mummy forward and bomb it on his head 10 pages ago.

GWS skills are substandard.

Just their skills!  If they didn't have Whitfield....in the words of BT "Boy oh boy"

Putrid final to watch.  Worse with Taylor and Brayshaw.

CH7 really need to find decent callers.

we will get smug Chris Scott all week now.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
