If we win and at the age of 65, I'm going to do it.  Will I need a general anaesthestic?   I have a very low pain threshold

Whatever tattoo you choose, make sure it's one that you won't have second thoughts about later on.

I wouldn't get a kebab from that place if you paid me. I can understand why you did after a night on the sauce.

It was a night… into a morning, into the afternoon game that lead to a very early evening dietary devilment.
Two of us arrived on the Friday early evening and enjoyed the nightlife, the third rang the door bell at 9am Sat and it was rude to not partake as he was so thirsty..

The pain of this club has been much worse than the pain of the needle I.

Exactly. If you sat through 2013 you can sit through anything.

I think its a stencil for the tattoo artist to use and draw ontop of/add more detail, shading etc

I don't have any tatts yet, I always said a Dees flag will be my first one. However i've watched a stack of tattoo competition shows over the years so thats my guess haha 🤣

Okay! And what am I supposed to do with my other breast?

Seems pretty corporatized to me. Do they get intellectual property rights over the piece of skin you put it on? 🤔

Though it's not as bad an idea as the official premiership cheese board they started flogging on the Demon Shop after the match.

Even at my age (I was probably just a little shy of the legal age in '64...) I have joked with my family about doing this. Easy when it hasn't really been a prospect...

Simple, small, well-concealed, but proudly borne and worn will be my go. Probably the 'MFC' and maybe the year.

With room for addition.

I feel I've gone a bit silly (for me) with posting across the board this past month or so, particularly since Saturday, though particularly particularly with the above. So I'm going to sign off now, until I can post the results of the above.

Gulp.

My younger brother claims he’s getting this with Premiers 2021 on his butt

He claims he can’t as the tattoo parlours aren’t open atm. Is that true? Can anyone prove he’s chickening out?

The cheese board is genius.

Nah, your brother is right. They’ll open up long after just about everything else.

You have been by no means silly. I love your posts, so please don’t sign off just yet.
That said, we’ll still need photographic evidence of your brand spanking new tatt once it’s done. 😁

The roadmaps vary obviously...but tattoo parlours can open from 15 October in the ACT. They come under the same category as hairdressers and beauticians (personal services).

Apparently brothels and strip clubs not open again until 29 October though (I swear my wife told me this!).

Still working out what tatt to get and where...

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturday’s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFL’s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
