We can do this!!!!

GO DEEEEES!!!!

It’s a not 10 metre rule tonight.

For Geelong at least.

This is the sort of game I support bringing in Vanders with the sole purpose of breaking heads. These Geelong scumbags need a good bloody smashing.

Is there a more hateable team than Geelong? Hawkins, Scott, Dalhaus, Rohan, Selwood, Dangerfield, grian miers’ hair,  the umpires , did I mention Scott (worth another one anyway along with that germ Selwood). I’ll bet even their property steward has some annoying tendency. Top to bottom they’re punchable. I’d be surprised if anyone except the fans and player’s parents like them. Santa probably even skips their homes and I wouldn’t blame him.

Carry a gun. Harmes dude you are killing me with kicks like that last one. Hoping cats tire - game could open up.

Love the way Trac just stays on his feet....just never goes to ground.

a proper tussle

Only teams I've seen playing finals intensity footy this weekend

The narrow pockets

Was just thinking how much this ground effects the game. Shouldn’t be allowed along with the SCG.

Possibly Richmond.

The kick by kossie

Looks like his body has caught up with his brain tonight.

We seem content to let geelong chip the ball around in their d50

Gee you can hear every cough!

And the train going through South Geelong station!

Have to win by about 6 goals tonight to claim the highest percentage of the season. Meaningless, but would be nice...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
