Melbourne winning games is a like a drug.

I think we’ve all felt that feeling after a win, that euphoria, the feeling that the Dees are unbeatable and craving for more - it becomes addictive.

Many of us hunt articles about the win, reading every word as though it’s our last and when there’s nothing left to read we are desperate for more.

Hopefully my new little project can help save you - but be warned, it’s as addictive as Demonland.

I've booked marked your site. Great work Deesigner

Fabulous.

Thanks @DeesignerAU, I've bookmarked your site.

Re "the feeling that the Dees are unbeatable"...that's some bad-[censored] reaction you're experiencing  there!

A very good friend of mine set this up. In many cases it can locate an article within 15 minutes of it being uploaded and it's where I first read the latest about our new training facility next to AAMI Park. If you only want to read / watch / listen to Dees related content and not the hoi polloi sitting under us on the ladder then it's a great reference point.

Love it.

Some first impressions feedback:

  • On the smartphone app the MFC news comes first. Personally i would put all the aggregated 'other' news (eg age/HUN articles about the dees) first and MFC stuff last
  • Why? becuase i would go the MFC website for all that stuff (and their videos, podcast etc etc) ie it is already aggregated (and can pop it on autoplay) - which i can't do obviously for news from multiple media outlets
  • In fact i would consider not having any official MFC stuff on there as there is heaps and it is distracts from all the other stuff (and from a club perspective they may prefer not to lose traffic to their site?)
  • the videos i would like aggregated in one spot is the YouTube channels that have bespoke edits of games, shows, clips etc etc. Lace out is an excellent example
  • I might of missed it, but if not, i would absolutely put up a link to the Dees bible - Demonwiki

Thanks for the feedback - I'll take it all under consideration.

Great job, Deesigner. 👏 I’ll spend hours on this site.

I hope there will be plenty of content in the off season too.

I think its great, maybe too great? Will it take traffic away from Demonland and thus advertising dollars which help keep the site afloat? I realise there are links to Demonland so you can also argue the reverse i guess.

Im not really sure how these things work?

Great work.

Well done, a nice concise site. Perhaps linking in Mongrel Punt and Stats Insiders stuff on The Dees would be good as well.

Thanks for the support and feedback so far.

I've added some new content sources, re-arranged the feeds on the front page (less focus on the more popular content) and added some custom content (edited versions of the original video without the content from the other teams/games).

If you see something you think I should include, shoot it through. Thanks

https://www.myheartbeatstrue.com/ is still scanning 62 news different new and content sources to find you demon related content - that said, there's been a reduction in the amount of good content coming out.

The site has been streamlined and re-designed several times over the past month. It has collected over 2,600 items from around the traps.

If think there's a news/content source that would be useful please comment below.

https://www.myheartbeatstrue.com/ now includes a search feature so if there's something you remember reading but can't put your finger on it, try the search feature and work your way through the nearly 5,000 items collected on the site so far.

Just brilliant. On it most days.

Can I do my best 22 on it?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
