Dogga Dogga Dogga oi oi oi.  And that's about it apart from our usual down back, Maxy trying hard and Macca in the last 10 minutes or so of that quarter.

Gus playing smart also on the odd possession.

Tracc started the rubbish with his early play ons without looking then unrealistic disposals both inside 50 and at HB.  He's s right off and so is Viney and Clarry.

Harnes has been 'ok.

Need to sort out the middle and stoppages we are getting murdered with too many at the contest and not holding their outside set ups very well.

As for the forward line.  There's been no genuine target, no cohesion and no smalls crumbing.  Dogga & Macca going up for the same mark.  Ok so that fails but where was even one small to mop up?

And the pressure inside 50.  Non existent.  If we aren't losing it out of the middle we are certainly not helping anyone from HF onwards by playing forward half zone, with virtually zero pressure on their backs rebounding, picking their way up the field the  launching deep inside 50.

Seen this last issue far too often this year.  You ain't making a PF with that method.

Some change ups needed.  Dogga to play mostly ruck.  Kozzie into the middle for Viney.  Tracc / Harmes rotating through HF for a good % of this second half vs minor minutes so far.

Need to find some run & dare off HB also.

Unlikely to win but who knows they might fire up.  Most have been flat as so far, bar a few mentioned.  Back line doing its usual job.  Forward line not doing theirs.

Hard to see where the next goal is coming from lately. Need to move it quicker and lock it in for some repeat stoppages.

Agree. Have to lock the ball in our forward line for a while, get our breath and structure back, and then put them under pressure.

Have to do something about winning a Centre clearance.

That play from Jordon and ANB is keeping us just in the game. Two great efforts.

Ok, I’m probably gonna cop it but I have never got all the love for Viney……sure he is hard at it but rarely does he come up with the ball and if he does he gets tackled trying to do too much. He’s not fast, blindly bombs his kicks but I guess he’s not alone there. I dunno, maybe I know nothing.  ?

I get what you're saying. He's so tough at the footy but he isn't great at ball use either. His kicking can be horrible

No his first half was terrible. Plays rugby. Goes hard, gets tackled and ball up or gets a kick and turns it over. Needs to lift big time and give off the ball quickly.

OOPPPPs true but the ruby supporters will not like this duck your head!!!!

Whoever thinks Brown shouldn’t be playing are right. Haven’t seen him get near the ball yet.

This has been so pathetic I've become more interested in trying to remember who Mumford reminds me of than watching this dross. It's finally come to me...Fifi from Mad Max.

Plain as the nose on your face Stafford. We need a tall key forward to kick the ball to. Tom Mac & Fritsch marking the ball down on the wing & HFF leaves us no targets at all.

And the rest of the forwards are playing in the stands with the supporters!

Our mental capacity in the last month or so is worrying. Dumb decisions and low confidence decisions. We may have gone too hard instilling the defensive mindset to the point of it crippling us.

Toby Green: four kicks. Yes, he has converted well, but  Hibbo is doing a great job

Mate, time to put the glasses back on.

Green is having a (green) field day

Let's change things up a bit put Jordan, sparrow,Lizzie, and Jackson in the middle to start see what happens this was my only issue with goody if plan a doesn't work there's no plan b atm mixed things up if it doesn't work it's no worse than what's going on atm

Harmes seems to be escaping his fair share of accountability. Been horrible today.

I thought he had been better than quite a few Nev.

Mids need to lay a few tickles. Up the pressure boys.

Pretty sure that’s all they’re doing

tickle tickle tickle

Hard to have confidence inside 50 when your "stars" miss from directly in front like that.

Jesus christ.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
