Why is the forward line still dysfunctional by Round 16?

it really is fascinating

I’m not a fan of what Spargo did that’s borderline corruption for it to be paid HTB one minute after Toby.

We're making terrible decisions. May has saved our backsides too many times already.

For the few times we've made it into the forward 50, who's taking the marks? Almost like we could do with somebody tall out there! What's the gameplan here!?

Getting smashed in the centre clearances. Also leave McDonald, fritta or Jackson in the 50 so we have a target.

This is not top of the ladder football

Yep why do we always tap the ball behind, dominate ruckman and we hit it behind, if we don't win it gives them an easy clearance

Here at the ground. We are nowhere near it. Flat as a tack. GWS will win this by at least 6 goals. Forward line is dysfunctional. Good bye top 4

Nibbler, Clarry and Harmes turn it over far too often and we desperately need a tall option in the fwd line.

Fox sports commentary fails to call it a duck

It's disgusting. And to cap it off, with that weasel Greene.

Why is it that we take forever to get going?

Plus our entries into 50 ?. Even a half good Brown would get the ball to ground from which our smalls could rove. FMD, it’s sooooo simples.

We take forever to get it in because we look up and see a midget fleet as our only options inside 50. Appalling non selection. Teams have worked out our game plan and we just stick to the same old stuff

Stop blaming umpires we are have no idea how to enter the forward line we had enough entries we just waste them.

[censored] our game.  No atmosphere at all

Its pretty strange when the number one team simply cannot come out and smash a team....just ONCE

Of all our 22.. Hibbo makes me most concerned. Very nervous, fumbles and often ball watches.. need Lockhart in

Despite my pillorying of Eddie over other matters, he is calling this game well.

Goody: Right boys, we really need to fix our mid forward connection so we need to lower our eyes when going forward.

ANB: Are we going to bring a key forward in, Goody?

Goody: We've already got him, mate. You'll be our lead up forward this week.

ANB: ?

3 highest possession winners for the quarter were defendets. Oliver ineffective.

Poorest forward connection for a top team ever.

Gws system and connection far superior.

This team is starting to remind me of the usual MFC

lost at selection table.

All the talk of defensive forwards is nice but you need to score to win

We look flat everywhere except down back.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
