Not very smart are they?

Loved booing their team off the ground. Hope Stringer felt at home being told off for being a [censored].

Did they boo there team off? Thought it was for the umps or us.

In previous years we’ve allowed one loss to turn into a slump. We’ve found different ways of winning this year and that’s very important.

At this stage of the season I’ll take 4 points any which way. Thankfully we were surrounded by MFC supporters. Instead of sheep I’ll have to count boos to fall asleep.

Our best tonight are obvious but special mention to Gus and Hunt for working their absolute backside off defensively.

I haven’t been following the footy for long enough( because I immigrated not because I’m young) so haven’t got the deep hatred of certain teams of fans that normal dees supports have developed. But after tonight the Bombers can go and get stuffed( for want of a stronger word). The dirty cheating shower of cheats. Their fans were awful tonight. How about you cheering on your own team instead of booing the opposition for the whole game.

Was the booing really that loud? It's easy to turn the mics up

It was ridiculous. I was at the ground and they booed far more than they cheered.

Half time ground announcer: “Bomber fans cheer your team off”

[censored] Essendon fans: “no we must boo the umpires instead”.

A pathetic bunch.

Essendon supporters are the biggest whingers on the planet .

Feels so good to beat them.

And hate Collingwood too!

Long story, but just trust me..

Bombers fans on Twitter calling for an inquiry into umpiring.

Couldn’t agree more. Let’s begin with the round 10 Crows game shall we?

No WE as in the Melbourne fans, booed them off at the end of the game.

It was always going to be a tough game - coming off the bye against a red-hot Bombers after a poor performance, but the boys got it done.

Agree with what most have said before: we need to work out our forward line: it's what's keeping us from putting the games away earlier.

It was a tough grinding win.Essendon we’re really good. But when are we are going  to play a side that’s having an off day I wonder?

When we play at our best we’re an absolute fuggin juggernaut.

But, we’ve still got a consistency problem to deal with.

Take the win. Important 4 points.  Messy last quarter. Could not win a clearance. Played well in the 3rd but missed a lot of chances

Gus played well. Best I have seen him kick the ball for a long time.

Think we need to bring BBB in and give him a good run at it

Jayden Hunt killed Tippa.

Leaders lifted in the third.

Viney was quiet but should be better for the run.

Liked Jordon's defensive efforts.

Haven't checked the records but in my mind Jack has always been a bit slow out of the blocks post-injury.

And it felt like the least influence that Clarry and Trac have had in a game this year in combination.

I'm convinced that those boys are our best throuple heading into the pointy end though. Let it flow.

Will take the win, but we are a long way from the side that was 8-0.

Teams are starting to find ways to pick us apart and you just hope we can start managing more than a grinding win leading into September.

Lots of blokes a long way off their best and we keep winning so there is from to improve

Not being smart but which teams are picking us apart?

Leaving the crows and pies out of tbe discussion - because in both games our defensive run, all team defence and pressure were miles off - no other team has been able to put scoreboard pressure on us. Not picking us apart at all.

The bombers are one of the form sides atm and one of the most offensive, highest scoring teams in the AFL. And in perfect conditions could only manage 57 points.

Our Achilles heel is way too many missed shots for goal.

Agree on blokes being down though. Kozzie was poor tonight as was Fritter. I thought Jackson was average too.

I'll second that motion

Has been awful this year, across the board

Good tough win.

I think that's the reward for being on top - everyone will go harder at you. It's great experience for this team.

Ugly ugly win.

Decision making news to improve big time, like Hunt kicking directly to an Essendon player in the last minute in our forward line, no players being on the goal line etc.

We need to also keep pressure on under performers, so be interesting to see who steps up in the VFL tomorrow.

I’m happy for all the DL-ers who were at the match. ? It’s sooo cold tonight, losing to the drug cheats would have made it such a miserable trek home. ❤️?

Look I’ll never watch the highlight reel. But I’ll remember fondly crushing Essendon’s finals hope and staying top of the ladder.

You what’s effing great? We kept them out of the 8 and we are 8-0 for the top 11 sides played.
