Choofta is more mobile than Brenny and Jacko is a best 22 player.

It’s difficult but I feel Sam offers more than Ben and we need to give him a couple of games to get a better look.

Brenny Brown has had three games not and has been ok with doing anything special.

With TMac  in such good form he sort of plays that big forward role and there fire brings a better balance.

bloody hard call though, especially when you entice a guy over from another club and pay him , most likely more than TMac and Choof put together

Dogga in for Brenny Brown or Chandler

Brown out.

Argh..

How the [censored] does Melksham get in based on being a medical [censored] sub.

Wow!  I LOVE the pressure for spots.

I predicted Brown out but I didn't think they would have the balls to do it.

Good changes

We look very dangerous with Jacko/Weed and T Mac

Sparrow sub plz.

Brown out don’t agree with that needs more time in the team to work with the forwards.

Also Brown takes the best defender which frees up Tmac which ain’t gunna happen now

Melk in what a joke.

Brown needs to come back next week. He’s a Marvel specialist and the Dogs biggest weakness is their backline. Especially now they’ve lost Wood as well.

Melksham in for Chandler is a strange one.  Bedford should have come in or keep Chandler.  We dont have enough pressure players and smalls up front.  should be fine against the crows but not against the dogs

Melksham in?

On what basis?

he certainly does seem to get a bit more of a look in than other guys, and performance doesn't seem to be a factor, not sure what the word for that would be.

We're still experimenting to find our best side.

No complaints here.

Looking forward to seeing  Weid get a whole game at FF this week. Grab it Sam.

Disappointed for Chandler as he was on a hiding to nothing playing seniors last week. He'd had very little match time at any level in the month preceding. I'd have like to see Melksham actually play at Casey. IIRC last time he played in the twos he came back with a vengeance. He might need another shake-up. A fit, firing & committed Melksham is an asset forward of centre.

I'm happy to give Weid another go and because Jackson is in, someone had to make way.

Pressure's on Weid to hold that spot though.

Same with Melksham, with Viney yet to return.

Brown out.

How the fuurg does Melksham get a game??? Brown has been a Matchwinner in the past. Melksham in is absolute Garbage player management!! Weeds has done nothing !! Brown has kicked 60 plus goals in 3 seasons out of 4 . Ill say this, unless weeds Dominates and kicks 4 or 5 he goes! MUCH rather a oroven BB

Wow BBB OUT....we really are getting tougher with selections. Last year he would have been in every week automatically. I felt he just wasnt timing his marking right at all.....but Weid can kinda do the same thing.

....dont really understand Milkshake back in....but what would i know.

Probably on the basis that he offers more than Chandler at the moment, but he obviously knows that he's on notice.

The Weid steps out of the shadow of BB. He really needs to take advantage and i reckon he will. Predicting a 5 goal haul.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
