- Get ready to see more #36 on the kids Dees jumpers

- Fritta to have 1,000  shots this week at training

- Clarry to get more recognition (if we lose him end of year we are screwed)

- Players need to look at cutting out the cute crap and just do the basics

- May and Lever held up well (did some clumsy things but that happens0

- Tomlinson played really, really well (hats off to him)

- Tracc another solid game

Should be no change to the team heading into next week

Really liked Jacko in the guts and Max up forward

So much for the st kilda fleet of small forwards. They are an average side.

The youngsters played very well. Some loose handpassing and wrong options at times but we have some real talent.

Must kick straighter. It will cost us if we don;t sort it out.

And a bit of Practice at Casey next week... Just too costly to keep playing him

Good to get the win. 19 behinds is deplorable though, and letting Howard just amble back and take intercept marks is poor form. We need a forward line. Good to see Petracca lower his eyes inside 50 at times, hopefully some of the others saw that and realise that it can be done. Its basic football and we are beyond pathetic at delivering inside 50. Good signs from a lot of players (mostly those not in the forward line). Majority team effort.

Have to clean up our entries into 50 and our finishing no doubt about it.

Smashed them in close and in the center clearances.

Sign Clarry and Tracc ASAP for F sakes Dees hirarchy. Bartlett, Pert get the pair locked away.

Tommo proving the doubters wrong and living up to his contract.

Great win. Clarry, Gawny, Trac and Kosie electrifying. Kossie what a star. Bring on the Giants

Bit harsh. The man has bills to pay.

If we ever learn to hit targets - players or the scoreboard we’ll be a bloody good team... until then yuk

Saints look tired.. might have struggled from the bog last week..

GWS are favourites next week.. why??

Get to the MCG v the cats.

We are finally worth watching

He does lead to pockets.

most would think the pockets are a larger degree of difficulty

bloke nailed a crucial goal...from the pocket.

im satisfied. ?

While I'm thinking about it, this might be super strategic for next week, but I reckon we do a sneaky marking/kicking practice sesh this week.

GWS won't know what hit 'em.

Tomlinson did very well in the shadow of May and Lever.

Wherever Kozzie is, the ball will follow him. He's a pure soul, he just enjoys his footy, "having fun." Love him.?

Over rated till the cows come home, flat track bullies, down hill skiers not an ounce of midfield defensive pressure amongst them.

We won a lot more out of the middle today - some great passages of play. Our turnovers and inaccuracy were the blight on the game. Fix those things - or at least reduce by 50% and we have the makings of a v good team. Loving the toughness this year, also.

So happy, Saints had the better of us for about 10 mins in the second but very impressed with the way we swung the momentum back.

One of Salem’s best games, he was unreal today.

Really good win, especially when we looked in big strife in the second. In the end, we really should have won by 30+.

Our setup behind the ball is first class. I just hope we don’t rely too heavily on winning the ball back in defence, we need to stay ahead of the game and what the good sides will throw at us. But bloody hell, Tomlinson, Gawn, May and Lever just set up another wall.

He did coach well i only watched till half time last week some definite changes have been made.

Long may it continue, only two weeks in, keep it up Simon and the coaching team.

You forgot Salem . Huge game.

Edited by leave it to deever

Viney will be better for the run. Started like a house on fire but then looked really lethargic as the game wore on.

Good day for the Dees!

Really gutsy win for the ladies and (almost) a dominant win for the boys! If only they could kick straight!

Salem awesome tonight! Oliver great again! Tomlinson our most reliable defender?
Kozzie so exciting, Swallow, Rivers  and Jordon solid, Jacko getting better each week. Youngsters were good!
Howard did to us what May and Lever did to Freo last week.
Need Viney and Brayshaw to do more.

Need to hold marks.

Need to kick straight.

Melksham and Hibberd to come back maybe next week. Then BB and Weid.

Could be anything this year! Opportunity is there, need to grab it.

Tomlinson gone from average recruit to Mr. Reliable, two excellent games in a row, one of the first picked.

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
