That's all the tweets they've uploaded so far.

Did mention towards the end that they don't expect to see Ben Brown play some sort of footy until about round 7.

James Jordon also most likely to debut this weekend.

Good to see this is a major focus for us.

DD36 thanks for all this, don’t get to listen to G and T,

does Max get help from , the coach or other ex captains,  or instructors who guide him through the early years of captaincy.
Not many AFL players are rocket scientists indeed some are barely articulate. They can play great footy perhaps but that does not automatically lead to the responsibility of leading a group of  players.
I know personally I can barely lead a horse to water.

Hope the club provides some sort of structure for him.

Come on Demons only a couple more sleeps

and happy equinox. Couple of days yet

But... But ....426 !!??

Well that would ensure there will be an injury in Q4 or earlier if the coach wants to pull an underperforming player.   Doesn't Goodwin have enough to think about now without having to have another decision option.

Very uninspiring TBH!! Hopefully his pre-game speeches have a better effect on the players?

Who have been our rucking captains? Big Carl? Don Cordner. One of those two, probably Carl in this instance, could surely demonstrate some of the finer points of intimidation to Big Maxy?

At least if Goody is on radio we don't have to watch his left hand scratching his left leg.

We will be lucky to get 5 games out of him.  Hes cooked.

This is just your MFCSS talking - I expect him to provide a target and allow out excellent midfield a more reliable option than they have had. If you want to make it easier on yourself by having subterranean expectations go for it - but reality does not promise such a pathetic return.

Reality says his knee is a mess.

Reality is you have no way of knowing and you can't resist making the most negative comments whenever you get half a chance.

Reckon we will get more out of Ben Brown in 5 games than T-Mac in 18

Correction... YOUR reality says his knee is a mess.  The removal of debris would suggest that the cause of his knee swelling has most likely been addressed.

Can see the leg scratching even in a radio interview. Hope the players are more invested in him than I am.

In the meantime next tv interview we should play the leg scratch drinking game

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
