Sorry Sam, we’ll get back to you in a moment….

For my money, the best version was by Them.

True story, how good was it seeing those fakers do nothing!

That said the problem is Lobb will likely be part of the LJ trade as Freo don’t have great picks to trade to us. So it might have been nice to see Lobb show something as a forward.

Josh Bruce had 2 disposals against us, manned by Tomlinson for a portion of the game.

Matt Taberner - who’s actually handy at his best - had 6 disposals last night. Felt like 2.

There’s no way to describe a 1 possession game as good but I don’t think it was Sam’s worst

Just listened to the presser and Goody made no mention at all about Weideman?

Those holding out hope for Sam are kidding themselves. He is just not up to it.

We in the other hand need to secure a KPF. Was watching some Of BBB last year and there is a considerable difference in output. I think his knee is cooked.

Geez it would have been handy to snag Walker.

Yes he did, thanked the Midfielder’s including Sam

What? Mate what press conference are you listening to? The only forward who got a mention was Bayley Fritsch and that was due to the questioned being asked if he was All Australian form.

Again, Goody never once mentions Sam's name at all and that's after I've listened to it twice.

What minute mark was it mentioned?

So today he was bad, but not significantly worse than last week..... which means he was bad then as well but worse today.

I have never seen a bar set quite so low.

Lets hope his surname inspires Collingwood to do something stupid like offering us a late second rounder for him, because thats the best we can hope for.

He might be a fantastic person, but he aint a key forwards bootlace.

I think Brown would have been no better last night to be fair. I was at the game and saw Weid often more competitive in contested situations than last week. Conditions had a big say.

Rubbish. At least BBB attacks that ball in marking contests, and makes some effort once it hits the ground. I suggest you watch the replay. Weid was not interested in making second efforts.

His best footy is as the second ruck and to be honest he’s probably be better in that position than Jackson at the moment.

No he’s not a shadow of LJ

It was the first presser up on the AFL website last night. I watched it twice. Because i was in shock!!

Maybe Goody did a take 2 and replaced it!!

Or maybe he just didn't mention him at all? I don't think I've ever heard of a press conference having to do a take 2...

Melbourne has too strong a list to keep giving Weid one last chance after another. Goodwin said in his presser that Brown is good to go next week.

One change re Coll ... BBB for Weid. Thats it.  No mention  of Jackson or Lever  being injured.

Toss Jacko into CHF see what he can  do infront of 80,000 on the G. May as well throw him to the wolves. Looks like he's going back to WA.

If we had too strong a list, he wouldn't be getting a game. He's getting a game due to lack of tall forward options. Jackson and Max have struggled at various stages this year forward too.

They think of Taberner over here, what we think of Weid, morning sports radio and about how quickly they need to dump him. How he had 1 okay season and hasn't performed since.   They dislike his lack of effort etc.

The bronx cheers last night certainly explained that..

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
