Game nearly gone

Right... what are the chances we kick a goal this term?  I'm giving us a 30% chance.

Kicking with the wind and we are still without a goal. Being beaten in absolutely every position on the ground. At least the fans wont be hanging on the edge of their seats until Essendon put us out of the finals

Its already over.

Are we not playing anyone forward of the Centre????????????

Gees I’m so excited for the explanation for this week’s disaster.

We are still in it by scoreboard but they are all over us and better coached/drilled. They look so slick and easily run past us without trouble.

Is that a metaphor for the next few years?

I wouldn't mind seeing Fyfe and Hogan in the finals challenging for a premiership. Beats every other club.

2 points. Going well so far.... what a shambles.

We are awful haha

Goody checking out seek.com just then.

Going going

was that 24 goalless quarters under Goodwin? I'm amazed how easy they waltz through the corridor. Somehow still in it but should be game over

0% I reckon

How's this under 10's blazing away, bombing it back to Freo crap

This cannot continue next Year

I hope Bartlett is ready to get serious...

We look terrible. And Freo are not a good side

Game over, I fear

Too much talent for this [censored]. Ross Lyon please. Goodwin just can't get the best out of a good list. Cooked.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
