Excuse me umpire do you actually know what constitutes in the back. Paid to one team but not the other.

Harmes in the back line is [censored] awful.ย

ย

this game will be won and lost at half forward. they sre killing us atm with forward half pressure.

Viney has been terrible. His possessions go nowhere.

That was [censored] [censored] weak Fristchย

My worry is that the Dogs' pressure is much higher than Adelaide, North or Collingwood and it's ruining our ball movement.

We just cannot get it out of our back half.

ugly footy from both sides

Harmes outmarked costs us a goal. He's not a defender.

Good lord, Pruess canโ€™t beat a bloke a foot shorter.ย

dogs look a lot better when they have the footy. More options than us.ย

Yep, I agree with this.

Our last move forward summed it up.ย  As soon as Fritsch missed Spargo (with a pretty rubbish kick it has to be said), Keath got the ball under no pressure and they were able to work it down field without too much issue.ย  We haven't been able to do that a whole lot and it's now starting to show on the scoreboard.ย  We need to not only win some footy, but to also keep it up our end for a while.

ย

This will be a tougher contest than the last three games. We need to link up better and get some more run on the outside.ย
hopefully the cheats donโ€™t ruin the contestย

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven Mayย

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
