Great goal to the yellow guys,

some ...yellow/red/black

I can only distinguish Red& baby blue and the other guys with a bit of yellow.

We're in trouble!

Unless... the weapon is released to play his natural game

Mids keep it going forward

Free space/block/ruck it to ground/ create space and allow Harvey do his stuff

I'm most annoyed about the lack of 50 when we finally got a holding the ball free kick and Talia just drops the ball to the ground.

That was 50 every time. It’s pure cheating.

I thought we had been stiff from the umpires to date....

This game is setting a whole new bench mark, this is just [censored].

Playing for the spoon here boys. Deplorable how bad this team is. Salem so undisciplined and just plain crap.

Remember how we talk about how we're this 'competitive beast' team with too many inside mids?

We're getting done in clearances by the worst clearance team in the league.

Would it hurt for one of our players to stay on the outside of the contest instead of all running for the ball like it’s under 10’s? Also, [censored] the umpires.

Is it still a thing where the captain can approach the umpires and stay what TF?

Dear Glen Bartlett,

If you want to do something to show this club is serious ask the AFL publicly to explain the free kick differential, and while you are at it ask them to explain the horrifically biased and one sided commentary we have to sit through as supporters.

Enough is enough. Collingwood wouldn’t accept it, and why should we?

Agree re the umpires. However we have done nothing to get any favourable commentary. Notwithstanding, McGuire and Brererton are vacuous nonentities.

Our kicking in general, bar the odd one here and there (mostly to players 20 meters in the clear but even then it's a coin flip) is bloody awful.

Even senior players have no ability to finesse and just take a little power off, & pull a kick to a leading player.  It's horrid.  It's been a problem at this club for 50 years!

In my 100% honest opinion I'd say we are a 10th place side. A perfectly average team. Nothing more, nothing less.

It looks that way, which means Josh Mahoney needs to go.

Who would you bring in Jaded when a small fwd goes out?

I'd bring in any bloke off the street.

He's legit the worst footballer that's ever pulled on this jumper.

And Derwit has just explained why the sling tackle has become so 'standard'. The umpires paying ridiculous holding the ball frees has meant the ball carrier is desperate to get boot to ball when their arm is held, they lose control of their body. The tackler is desperate to prevent them from disposing of the ball and that is the best way to do it.

Gil, you have [censored] this sport and put players lives at risk. I hope you get your ars sued to kingdom come.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
