peptides look like us; get ball, bomb ball, turnover ball, stand still, see ball go whizzing past you at the rate of knots

unlike us they have a litany of injuries to their best 22

Losing last night was a disaster. An Essendon loss is a nice consellation prize.

The only thing we have to look forward this weekend is potentially watching Essendrug and the filth lose.

Whorethorn fight back as they usually do....

You know they lost their last 4 in rather pathetic fashion?

Sure, a fightback tonight was good for them, but they're old and experienced and should be contending for top 4, not trying to escape the bottom 4.

I know the history

They were 5 goals to 0 and then completely obliterated Carlt. not many teams can change gears like that mid game.

Clarkson is still the one to chase....

At least we didnt lose to Hawthron

And haha i hope the bombers get smashed

Thinking the exact same thing, I can't help but feel that the game in hand could end up being both clubs chances to scrape into finals.

Ess and Bris is a waste of time watching but I will have to say that the umpiring is to put it mildly perplexing. In reality it is a disgrace.

Cue "discussion" of Us v Lions = 1 goal, Bombers v Lions 10 goals?...

Oh well watching the bummers get smashed has cheered me up a little. They lost a lot of %. Ha Ha.

I know we can't really talk but Charlie cameron kicked more goals than the whole essendon team combined. That was Worsfold's lowest score ever in his coaching career.

Puts paid to the hard to come up after such a tough game in the wet/damp theory.

Would like to play Essendon after their Darwin game... Alice perhaps

Very very minimal consolation is that EssUndone got beaten by more than we did, with an even more pathetic score.

Must be grateful for tiny mercies.

Early in the second (I think) Shiel not only gets tackled high, he gets tackled to the ground when not in possession of the ball. The umpire was only 2 metres away right behind the action with perfect view and calls play on. FMD, as much as I loathe the peptides, pathetic umpiring riles me more.

And here's the stat to back up your statement above....

Brisbane 22 scoring shots from 37 i50 entries. (60%...must be close to a record)

Essendon 16 from 42.

I think they've copied our game plan!

Essendon were pathetic but did have a few guns missing from their best 22 as opposed to us who had 0.5 of our best 22 missing (Not sure if VDB is genuine best 22)

We need to cop it from the media and own up to it internally. It was a disgraceful performance Vs Port.

As much as I despise the Peptides, the decisions against them against Brisvegas were mindboggling. I.e. amongst others, the Andrew McGrath holding the ball decision in front of goal, the allowing one player to hand the ball to another from beyond the boundary for a shot at goal (that may have been the worst as it was a disregard of the actual rules of the game) and Shiel being grabbed around the neck clearly during a stoppage. There were several others.

Wouldn't have changed the outcome but the umpiring was clearly advantageous to Brisbane. Probably the worst umpiring for the season and that's saying something.

Having Jones playing is like fielding 17 men and a witches hat. No other team plays a player as slow, plodding, unaccountable and past it as Jones is on a wing or anywhere else. No way in best 22.

How many games in a row did Neeld lose in his first season before his first win?

I don't want to see Nicks cop heat but his team is stuck on the bottom & losing to the team above them by 46 points
