Players are allowed to slow down  towards the end of their career. The malice being shown towards him is completely unnecessary. He has done everything right by our club, and deserves the same back. That includes hero supporters sticking the boot in. 

You obviously missed Pinball Wizard’s response to the attack on him by another poster - or the apology that followed.

I was disappointed when we didn’t draft Zac Jones in the first place but sometimes you have no choice in a draft. But we never seemed interested in him when he was leaving the Swans and I think he would have been a handy addition to our lineup.

He's crafty and win's his share as an isolated target, but his field kicking is very creative and reliable.

Fritsch on one side as more of a stay at home HFF and Harley on the other roaming as an extra mid. 

I think Fritch could be looked at to fill what Melksham was doing a couple of years ago should Jake continue to produce low results. Still I'm also happy for us to persist with him deeper, should've had at least two more goals.

As an aside, I wonder how Fritsch would have felt post-game if we hadn't won? As supporters we get emotionally invested in the result and I assume most (all?) players do, too. If we had lost that game I could imagine Bailey taking it very hard. It's no wonder professional sports people are prone to depression given they must sometimes feel they have the equivalent of the weight of the world on their shoulders brought on by supporter as well as club and teammate expectations. 

I should probably keep this in mind after we lose our next game and before I consider who to blame.

IMO,  the problem is "Blame".    a negative way of judging.

Not critique perse,   because critique can be based in creativeness.

But blame is just that,  a critism of dead-end failure and lambasting.   No encouragement within it.

And I assume it's one of the skills coaches need to have. I expect "old school" coaches (and I have one recently retired coach in mind) might have pushed some players with a "blame" approach and in the olden days it might have worked. Today, however, attitudes have changed and I would expect a coach apportioning "blame" to a particular player would find that the technique just wouldn't be beneficial for most players.

What’s the equivalent of the Coleman leader board for behinds because Fritta would be leading that comfortably with 6.

Hopefully it’s just a phase but he’s not a pure set shot sort of player unfortunately.

I still reflect on a few misses I made in under-15s and have strange dreams about it. One was from a game when I was switched forward and kicked 12 goals but blotted my clean score-sheet with the easiest kick of the day 15-out straight in front. Two others were goal-square fluffs where I should have worked through it better. I remember these occasions vividly from 25 years ago and they still haunt me - although we won two of those matches. I can also recall at least six other misses from that season.

Great work Andy keeping us all up to date with dees related media. You have been doing power of work.

And credit where credit is due the clubs media has been telly terrific of late. Excellent fan engagement.

Things like these clips and the zoom session with goody etc are what i have been banging on about in terms of content. Doesn't have to be academy award level. Just engaging.  Look how may views these clips have already. Tt show the demand for such content

Down pat I'd say.

We were doing it with our eyes closed on Saturday. ?

Nice chase down from Tracc, highlights his improved second efforts. But I have so many questions:

1. Why is he so far forward of the contest to begin with?
2. Why does Gawn let Bradtke out sprint him forward?
3. Why does Brayshaw (sans helmet?) blindly crash in to Oliver, and then after that he seems to drift towards the backline but not even pick up Bradtke on the way through to help Max out?
4. Why does Oliver - forced in to a 2 on 1 after Gus wipes out - initially do a good job of corralling both players and creating doubt in Wagner's (I think) mind then rush up on Wagner right when Tracc is closing in to make a tackle? If Oliver hovers for another step or two Tracc gets the initial tackle or Wagner kicks under pressure.
5. Why does Wagner not hit Jordon (I think) in stride with a regulation handball and why is Jordon thinking about anything else but turning and hitting a leading target. He knew he was free when he called for the ball, but suddenly he's looking to handball out wide to a covered winger?

That's a lot of criticism for a short little burst of play that ultimately ended well for the blue team, but if Wagner could handball and Jordon had confidence then 4/5ths of our starting mids have given up a decent kick inside 50. Shiel, McGrath and Merrett will have a field day on Sunday if that's the best we can do and Petracca isn't running down any of those guys with a big headstart.
